Grandma's Room at Keystone Hotel - 201

  • Summary:

The one who started it all. Grandma's Room sits at the heart of Keystone the way she sits at the heart of the family, warm, steady, and worth coming home to. It's gracious without being formal, beautiful without trying too hard, and filled with the kind of comfort that makes you want to stay a little longer. A queen bed, a private bath, and a front-row seat to downtown Savannah, one flight above Sunday Sunday and steps from Broughton Street.

    The Space:

Queen bed, 233 square feet, with a mini fridge. The most welcoming room in the house, layered, gracious, and quietly luxurious, the room everyone gravitates toward. Every Keystone room is a curated guest room with a private en-suite bath and no kitchen, so the room itself is the experience. Premium linens, blackout window treatments, a sound machine for deep sleep, fast Wi-Fi, and keyless entry. A second-floor pantry has coffee, water, and snacks, with Sunday Sunday downstairs.

    Guest Access:

Check in on your own schedule. Your phone is your key: one app opens the building entrance and your room door, so there is no front desk and no one to check in with. The hotel entrance is on West State Street, around the corner from Sunday Sunday's door on Whitaker. An elevator serves both guest floors. The second-floor pantry has water, cold drinks, and snacks, and your signature cocktail is poured downstairs between 5 and 6pm.

    Other Things to Note:

Keystone is a curated 11-room hotel. Each room is a bedroom with a private en-suite bath, deliberately uncluttered, with no kitchen. Sunday Sunday, directly downstairs, serves brunch through dinner, so breakfast is one flight away. Your stay includes a signature cocktail at 5pm and the pantry. Arrival is by app rather than a front desk, and our team answers by message day and night. The interior is newly renovated, and you are on one of Savannah's liveliest streets, so expect city sound.

You are in the true center of Savannah's Historic District, on Whitaker Street just off Broughton, the city's main shopping and dining corridor. Step outside to boutiques, coffee shops, galleries, and some of Savannah's best restaurants. Ellis Square, City Market, and the Bull Street squares are a two to five minute walk; River Street and the waterfront about eight. Forsyth Park is a pretty fifteen minute stroll under live oaks.

Savannah's Historic District is made for walking. Nearly everything you'll want is within a few blocks, and the free DOT shuttle loops downtown. Rideshare from the airport takes about 20 minutes.

PARKING: Keystone does not have a private lot. Metered street parking is available nearby but fills quickly in this busy stretch of downtown, so we recommend planning on a garage. The Whitaker Street Garage (7 Whitaker St) is open 24/7 a short walk away, with other city garages within a few blocks.

    Interaction with Guests:

There is no front desk, so there is nobody you need to meet and nothing to collect. Our team is reachable by message day and night, and we answer quickly. If your key will not open a door at 11pm, we will sort it out at 11pm. Otherwise we leave you to your stay.
