Great location. The home was very comfortable and clean. We were there for business and having the 5 bedrooms gave everyone their own rooms. The small back porch was nice to go get some fresh air. Everything you need for eating is in the kitchen. The large table was nice so we could all eat together. No issues with parking while we were there. It’s an old home but well maintained inside. Great stay.

I loved how in communication they were. With that in mind, things could be updated as the fridge didn’t work but they had a replacement standing off to the side. The dishwasher didn’t fully click in which made me skeptical to use it. And the shower curtains could have been replaced and newer or at least washed. But overall we LOVED our stay and enjoyed the outdoor space that most places do not have. Perfect for the price and loved that we could walk everywhere and that there was free parking.

Perfect spot for our group! House is awesome, very old and needs some basic cosmetic repairs. Furniture on the dingy side. Best location ever. So much history. Never did get an email or text concerning our check out except the time. No mention of stripping or leaving the sheet, whether to pile the towels etc but overall it was great and we are neat and clean people.

Savannah trip

Great house. Communication with property manager was great. We had an issue with the sink that was resolved immediately as well as with the gate lock. A simple text message resolved both problems. Great house!

Pleasant stay

We enjoyed our stay at this 1860s home. The location is easily walkable to historic sites, restaurants, and shopping. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and the bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. It has been updated, but any old house will have some issues. The smell of dampness was an annoyance and there are some water issues with the third floor shower and the powder room toilet. The outdoor area just needs a refresh. Hopefully these will be addressed. Even with these minor problems, we would stay again.

So much potential

We all had a great time at this quaint property, but did encounter a few problems. The beds, even though not completely accurately depicted, were very comfortable. The only one we did not use was the rollaway from the king room closet. Honestly, the closet was very musty just from age of the house - so we probably wouldn’t use that bed anyway. The extra pillows in the closet were also musty smelling. The house is charming in it’s historic nature, but could still use some necessary updates. The shower on the third floor should be referred to as a half bath because the shower is unusable. Tried to use it several times, but never had hot water. Two people out of our group of 14 braved the cold to actually shower and discovered that water ran out of the shower all over the bathroom floor! It was evidently seeping out from under the tiles. The sink had hot water, no problem, but not the shower. Very bizarre! Also a shame, because the two bedrooms on that floor are lovely. Note that the stairs to the third floor are Very Steep! Be careful. All interior walls really need a good coat of paint. Also, the outdoor courtyard could be a nice spot to hangout, but we found it was not very inviting with deteriorating cushions, no greenery, and chipped paint on wrought iron and porch boards. Overall we enjoyed our stay and made the most of it, but not sure I could recommend until some upkeep is taken care of.

Bachelorette Haven

This was the perfect place for a bachelorette weekend. The house is on a quiet street that is beautiful for strolling and a short distance from the bars and restaurants. Very safe neighborhood. The house had plenty of space for all of us we loved hanging out in the updated spaces. While this house is old, the decor was perfect and everything has been updated- except the floors which we absolutely loved! The check in and out process was simple and the owners/mgmt was easy to work with. The only comments I have is the outside needs a little refresh for maintaining the beauty of the property. Also, showers did not get super hot so would love to see the hot water level increased a little bit. Other than that, this property was perfect and really provided everything we needed for a great weekend celebrating friends.

Great location, on a beautiful street!

We loved our stay. Check in was easy as we got there late and had no problem. The house was large and comfortable. Great kitchen. Within walking distance to a delicious coffee shop and many local sites. The street is one of the most beautiful in Charleston. Thanks for a great stay!
