Our stay was fantastic, starting with our host, Edward, who was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout.We traveled as two families (3 adults, 4 kids), and the layout was perfect. Each guest enjoyed their own spacious bedroom and ensuite bathroom—a huge hit with the kids, who especially loved the giant beds. The rooms offered plenty of storage, and the quality of the linens, pillows, and towels was excellent. We particularly loved the second-floor balconies.The kitchen was fully equipped with modern Samsung appliances, ok knives, and ample dishes. We made great use of the grill and its extensive tool set, and the large dining table easily fit our entire group.While the pool was a nice change of pace, we spent most of our time in the ocean. Using the local public dock to jump in was a highlight; it’s a lively spot for locals and offers great snorkeling right out front. We also rented kayaks from The Shack Aruba (delivered to the door) to explore the barrier islands and Sea Glass Island just offshore.The location is ideal—peaceful and tucked away from the commercial crowds of Oranjestad and Noord. For transport, we highly recommend Jeep Aruba. Though their booking process is low-tech, they are reliable, meeting us at the airport for a seamless handoff. The Jeep was essential for exploring the national park and the rugged coast near Baby Beach. For taxis, call Gregory (The Aruban Assassin) at 297 734 2314. He’s a former MMA fighter with a heart of gold.
