Only 3.8 miles from Helen’s city center, Huckleberry cabin is perched on the knee of the famous Yonah Mountain. Just off the Helen Highway, Sweeping breezes and rustling trees will escort you through our private electric gate for the ¼ mile jaunt up the gravel road to our secluded cabin.

Easy and private access for all cars. No 4x4 required!



Spacious two levels of parking leave lots of room for corn hole and outside activities. Wonderful stone steps and tiers were excavated onsite to provide a great outdoor space to enjoy. Just below the cabin, you will find our real live huckleberry field with tasty treats blooming each year! Inside the cabin, you will be immediately impressed with our crisp, clean rooms and new finishes. We make our home as upscale as possible for your enjoyment. From modern entertainment devices to comfy furniture and cozy throws. We take pride in our home and you will notice the difference from a commercially-run property.



Tempur-pedic mattresses, 800 thread count linens, allergy-free pillows are in place for your stay. You are sure to wake to feel refreshed and invigorated to get out there and enjoy your vacation! The bedrooms are configured across three levels with the upper loft offering a king-size bed and full ensuite bath. The main level encompasses the kitchen, dining room, living room, hall full bathroom with shower and the second bedroom also with a king-size bed. Finally, the terrace level is open with a queen-size bed and a separate laundry room with half bath. This level provides walkout access to the fire pit, gravel tier, and the huckleberry field.



The Kitchen is very well equipped for your stay. My wife is a chef so she really enjoys preparing our cabin for culinary guests. Whip up some brownies from scratch or just place up the s’mores for the fire pit! Modern appliances and place setting for six, our dining table will hold four guests comfortably so pull up a seat on the porch table and have some wine with the view! Use the quiet dishwasher and enjoy easy ice in the freezer. No trays!

Why a cabin…



If you want to make your getaway a real getaway then you have to pick a place to really, actually get away from the crowds! Staying in a stuffy hotel room is for the birds. Take in our surrounding 1.5 acres of wilderness while you enjoy the comforts of a home.



🐕 If you are traveling with a pet: We do allow one DOG under 40lbs if you disclose that they will be coming with you to the cabin. Our Pet fee is $65 for your entire stay. We provide a crate/kennel for you to use when you are leaving the cabin. PLEASE do not leave your pet loose in our home while you are out! NO CATS allowed as we are allergic. Have a registered service animal? Please submit your registration card.



YES, We have a coffee maker in our fully equipped kitchen for you! It brews k-cup and traditional pots! see it in the photos.



🧗🏻 Yonah Mountain is a unique landmark. With its rare baled face, Yonah provides world-renowned rock wall climbing with no fee for expert climbers. Heck, the US Army uses this mountain to train their Rangers for rock repelling, rope, and free climbing. There is a public trail from the base that you could hike up the entire mountain by foot. If you stay here at Huckleberry cabin, you will be on the only private road access to the top! (hint hint) From the parking area and rustic bathrooms near the summit, you can walk the trails to amazing views from each direction as Yonah mountain stands tall alone from the range.

🎈 Start off summer in Helen with the annual hot air balloon race to the Atlantic. Helen is the starting launch site each year at the end of May.💧The last week of May also marks the opening of Helen’s water slide and lazy river amusement park so bring your suit and float your cares away while the adventurous few rides the mountain flumes Down to the pools. Park is open until September so do not miss this cool treat.

💦 Tube the Chattahoochee! Take in the town from the coolest place around since the Chattahoochee River curls right through the city. Hop on the gentle waters and cascade your day in the clean and clear waters. The wide and shallow river formations through town make a pleasant tour to both the young and old at heart. Do not miss this summertime must do!



🍁 Long fall seasons are exciting in Helen as the mountains take on color and daily activities linger from the cool breezes across the valley. Fall is a great time to take a hike and discover the Unicoi state park.



🍂 Take back the outdoors for a day on the shaded trails through the forest and lakeside or visit beautiful Anna Ruby Falls just 10 minutes from the cabin.



🍺 Oktoberfest in September? Yep, you read that right. Helen is renowned for its festive celebration of Oktoberfest each year spanning three weeks in September. Book early and often as this event is a must-do again and again! Colorful decorations and costume-clad dancers serve Bavaria’s best brews for a celebration of tastes and sound sure to delight! 🍻 The Oktoberfest grand hall is 5.4 miles distance from the cabin’s door...



🎄 A Bavarian holiday lies closest to our hearts as the town’s twinkle lights sprinkle the season’s magic across Helen. Just as Germany’s coveted Christmas village is the holy grail of the holiday spirit, you can’t get much closer than Helen Georgia for the winter charm in the mountains. Light snow brings a special hush to the streets and reminds us of Dr. Seuss’ Who-ville. 🎅🏻 Be sure to stop in the Helen Christmas Shoppe.



👶🏻 Baby land General hospital is just five miles from huckleberry and is the delivery center com the world-famous Cabbage Patch Kids! Enjoy the youthful nostalgia of this fun land tour of the facility and introduce your childhood memories to a new generation.



🍷 Wine tours! How could I skip this? The ideal climate of North Georgia’s mountain slopes has an amazing effect on the tender grapes and muscadine fruits as they drape across the small craft vineyards surrounding Helen. Book a “booze cruise” for a comfortable guided tour to taste nature’s nectar. Each season produces unique flavors to be squashed into barrels and bottled to take home with you. 🍾

Our base price is for two guests with the ability to serve up to six for a very reasonable additional cost. It is only $20 for each additional guest per night should be reflected in your total quote. Be sure to select your guest count and pet in the search options. We price our property to be most affordable this way for all party sizes, big and small while accounting for additional wear, amenity usage, linens, and cleaning required.



GUESTS MAKING RESERVATION AND ALL GUESTS AT PROPERTY MUST BE AT LEAST 24 YEARS OLD OR OLDER, except for those who are in the presence of their parent(s) or legal guardian(s.) By submitting your reservation you are confirming that you are 24 years of age or older and that all of the guests are either at least 24 years of age or any who are under 24 are with their parent(s) or legal guardian(s.)



What is provided on-site for your stay: linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, cable or satellite TV, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of: Toilet Tissue (2 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, 1- hand soap for each bath and kitchen, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you will need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
