Our Get Aweigh! Cabin Retreat, private hot tub, community pool - Goshorn Lake Access

  • Kingfisher Cove unidad # 14 (Nuestro Get Aweigh) cabaña frente al lago se encuentra en esta maravillosa comunidad de 29 lujosas cabañas de cedro. Ubicado en el bosque que rodea el lago Goshorn. Las cabañas de sentimiento "hacia el norte" están a solo dos minutos del centro de Saugatuck. Un plano de planta diseñado que cuenta con tres habitaciones (incluida una fabulosa suite principal), dos baños completos, un interior de madera, una gran sala con una imponente chimenea de piedra, un acogedor loft que actúa como sala de estar y área de TV, una cocina abierta y un comedor con vista. Enorme porche cubierto en la parte posterior con una bañera de hidromasaje de tamaño completo o sentarse en el porche que da a la piscina.
    Ocupación máxima 8: incluye bebés y niños.

    NOTA: Durante la temporada alta (Memorial Day-Labor Day) solo aceptamos alquileres semanales. A menos que la propiedad esté disponible 2-3 semanas antes de la llegada.

Very cozy cabin, clean and peaceful. It was not exactly "on" the lake, but a bit of a stroll on a boardwalk. Lots of picky branches growing over walk, so we took scissors to clear the path. A bit far to port the canoe, so we skipped that , but there was lots of other things to do. Close to downtown Saugatuk, a fun sports bar and an ice cream parlor. So, all in all, a very positive experience!

True cabin atmosphere

The cabin was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Convenient to all of the places we wanted to visit in nearby cities. Impressed with all amentities in the kitchen, beach toys and games for the kids, beds were comfortable, kids enjoyed the pool amd hot tub. We enjoyed our family time in this cabin!

4th of July Getaway

Overall we had a great stay! House was perfect for two families with 3 kids. Close to pool and lake and just a short drive into town. The only thing I wish was a bit better was the bonfire area-on slanted ground on the side of the house which was hard to navigate around, especially with kids.

Last Minute Getaway

Loved everything about this property! My boys loved fishing off the pier and ventured out in the canoe. Oval Beach is a short drive. We liked going in the late afternoon to catch the sunset and when it was less crowded.

Great house, close to everything

We truly enjoyed out time here. The house was clean and had everything you need. We had some slight hick-ups but the management team was quick to answer the phone and were super helpful. If you're looking for somewhere to see the west side of the state and have quick access to the highway without the noise, check this place out. The only drawback I can see is the walking path was loud with a group of kids the last night we were there and that's not anyone's fault except that it goes right behind the property. Would surely stay again!

Vacation w/Kids before they leave for college

We were able to carve out a few days with our grown children before the summer ends and they head back off to college or work. Our Get Aweigh was a great cabin that fit our family of 5 perfectly. It was beautifully decorated and very clean with everything we needed. The cabin is located close to downtown Saugatuck and Douglas an not far from Holland and South Haven, all of which we visited. We had an immediate response when I requested our reservation. From start to finish, great experience.

The rental had an issue when we arrived, and we had to be moved to another location. The new place did not have a hot tub or the room configuration that was needed. We did get a reduction of cost due to this.

Goshorn Lake Delights

Stayed with wife and two boys 11 and 13. They loved the bunks and the hot tub. The pool less so. A shallow pool with mostly young kids. House was right by the pool and path to Lake Goshorn. The hot tub is well kept up and the property itself is immaculate. Would have liked a king bed but it worked out okay. The place would get cramped with more than four or five in the common area but there is sleeping for 8. There is a canoe that we took out and played games on the back deck which is screened in so no mosquitoes. The property is a little far from town compared to other properties. You wouldn’t want to walk into town. With that being said, it is a five-10 minute drive. We have stayed once before and had a better time this trip because we fished and used Goshorn more.

Great location and amenities on the outskirts of Saugatuck

This is our second year to stay in the Kingfisher Cove neighborhood, and the first for this specific cabin. As grandparents bringing our daughter + family including three boys from 18 mos to 6 yo, it really is a safe and ideallic property, with safe streets for bike and scooter riding, a great community pool, the boardwalk to the lake nearby, and the close proximity to downtown Saugatuck and Douglas quaint downtowns.

Loved it !

Loved this location and the house ! Only 2 things the dock needs some TLC , we almost had a causality due to the broken boards . Also the kitchen supplies could use and upgrade . Other than that we absolutely loved this place and would be so happy to return .

Perfect Winter Getaway

Six adults and one baby loved our cozy getaway. It was the perfect post-Christmas respite. We hiked in the fresh snow at Dunes State Park, grabbed a few meals in Saugatuck, watched football in front of the fire and, above all, relaxed.

Our stay was wonderful! A nicely located cabin that still feels private. Really enjoyed the hot tub on the screened in porch during the stormy fall weekend! The team was really helpful with figuring out some property logistics like parking. They also provided recommendations for the area.

Birthday Trip

A great long weekend getaway to Saugatuck! In a nice little part of town not too far from downtown and other attractions. Easy to rent, check in, and check out! The hot tub on the screened in porch was a great addition given the stormy fall weather!

Great Place to Stay

My family (wife and three children 11, 8, and 5) stayed here for an extended weekend and we loved it. The pictures accurately represent the property. The cabin is close to everything, and the kids loved the hot tub and bunk room. If we come back to Saugatuck we will definitely stay here again.

Great Family Getaway

We had a wonderful ladies weekend getaway in Saugatuck. This property was perfect. Right across from the pool and just A short walk down the dock to the lake. We will be back next year absolutely had a wonderful time it’s a perfect set up

Awesome place!

Our best family vacation to date! Great location, clean. Loved swimming in the lake (there is no beach, just a dock.) Was a blast having the hot tub and the pool. Will definitely be back!
