It was perfect for a girls trip! Perfectly located sith a quick walk to the main shops and restaurants. The hot tub was perfect for a cold weekend. Thr property manager eas very responsive and extremely wuick to answer/fix anything we had problems with.

Great location but difficult management

The place has been nicely redone but my friend cut her foot on sharp prongs jutting out of the tables, the large bed was super uncomfortable and the place was a little dark. You could also hear people stomping around in the unit upstairs all night. It is right downtown which was nice, but I booked this listing well in advanced and asked questions of the host in the booking form and it took them two months and mutilple messages to get back to us. Wasn’t terrible but wouldn’t stay here again.

3 night stay

The cottage was perfect for our stay in Saugatuck! Everything was as described and the hot tub was wonderful to soak up after walking all day. The high ceiling in the dining/living area makes this small place feel big. Kitchen was perfect for our needs as well as the bedrooms. The location is just a few minutes walk from downtown and the river. We had a great time and highly recommend.

This cottage has many custom decor features and is cozy as can be. Located conveniently to shops and restaurants, you can walk everywhere! The cottage has a quiet policy after 10 pm. The only reason I didn’t go 5 stars was the lack of an equally cozy outdoor space. There is a hot tub we did not use.

Short getaway

We had a perfect weekend in Saugatuck and the surrounding area. The weather was great. The Nightengale Cottage was so comfortable and had everything you could think of for a short stay. I was located close to so many places in Saugatuck and nearby towns. Wineries, shopping, parks, restaurants, beaches - so beautiful!Directions for maintenance and check-in/out were timely and clear. Parking was right outside the house with only a few steps in. We definitely would stay here again!

Weekend in Saugatuck!

This apartment is amazing, just the right size for a weekend getaway, very clean very well appointed, with nice amenities. We tried out the very relaxing hot tub, which didn’t disappoint! Great place would definitely stay again

Great Winter Getaway

My husband and I booked a last minute stay at the Nightingale for a quiet and lowkey Valentine’s Day. We absolutely loved the convenient location, overall cleanliness/coziness, and access to the hot tub. We explored a very quiet Saugatuck and ate lots of great food at local spots. Our only complaint would be that we had neighbors our second night, and we could very clearly hear them until very late at night. We were under the impression that the cottage was a stand-alone unit, so I think it could be made clearer that there is an apartment attached to it as well.

Cute Place, dont rent for hot tub

Place was well kept and clean. Main issue was the lack of any privacy in hot tub area, as your neighbors are right on top of you. This is very hard to tell by photos displayed on VRBO. Hot tub area only has small portion of fence which allows plain view from anyone going up and down the stree (this is a busy town) and if your neighbors are on their front porch they might as well come join you they are so close. Also the only way to access the hot tub is to go out the front door (again the house sits close to road) and walk all the way around to the back of the house. Definitely unpleasant if you are staying during winter like us and want to use the hot tub.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful vacation at the Nightingale cottage . A five minute walk to downtown and a five minute drive to the Dune rides . The staff at Quaint cottages was very helpful and responded to our questions quickly .

Great location, deceiving description

Loved the house, however there is a 1 unit rental attached that is directly ABOVE it. We heard others stomping around all night above each bedroom in the Nightingale unit. Every night we were woke up by our upstairs neighbors. Nowhere in the listing did it disclose there is a unit upstairs, only attached. Would not have paid to stay here. Very disappointed.

Perfect place for a weekend away

My friend and I rented the Nightingale unit for a quick weekend away. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the hot tub in the evenings. The Nightingale is central to everything and is walkable to downtown Saugatuck.
