    Bella Haven ("beautiful refuge") is a favourite getaway for many Saturna visitors.
    A bright and airy beach house set on a picturesque half-acre, adjacent to our home.
    Overlooking Lyall Harbour, you will have front row seats to spectacular summer sunsets and the ever-changing vista.

    It's perfect for one or two people looking to experience the uniqueness of Saturna Island and the beauty of the seasons in the Southern Gulf Islands.

    Lyall Harbour is safe for swimming.
    There are no predators, such as bears or cougars, on Saturna.

    We have sought to equip Bella Haven to a high standard and to anticipate your needs for a memorable stay.
    The open-plan living space, and the many windows, provide a feeling of spaciousness and light.
    Although there are no laundry facilities in the beach house, arrangements can be made, by appointment, to use the washer and dryer in our house if required.

    * We must mention our big friendly pooches, Dudley and Angus!
    They will greet you from the other side of the fence, but have no access to your patio or living space.
    They may be "vocal" upon your arrival but they settle quickly.

    Our beautiful and peaceful setting lends itself to relaxation, but is also a perfect home-base for:

Beautiful one bedroom cottage with everything first class.Best equipped kitchen of any place we have ever rented.Lovely front deck with excellent sunset views.Simply put, it is a gem of a place.

Just a Great spot for our 4 night Saturna Island 53rd anniversary celebration getaway, and great friendly prompt responses from Sue and Rob for any of our minor concerns or questions or requests. Very well equipped for all our needs and close driving access to everything we wanted to see and do when exploring. The adjacent public beach access was a bit noisy at times, otherwise 5 stars instead of 4, but the rooms inside were very comfortable quiet overall, and it was a very comfortable King size bed. Great sunset views from the deck with the new fire pit to enjoy, and also from the private beachside chairs. As a very seasoned local and world traveller I can very highly recommend Bella Haven and Sue and Rob as great hosts!

We had a wonderful stay on Saturna thanks to Sue & Rob & Dudley & Angus and their beautiful vacation cottage. It truly is a cozy and charming place. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was one of the best equipped in a vacation property that we've had and the view & sunsets are even better than the pictures. Sue & Rob are wonderful hosts and Dudley and Angus were the icing on the cake for us. We highly recommend staying at Bella Haven - you won't regret it!

Wow! This is an exceptionally well designed space that is incredibly well appointed and located in an idyllic setting. Sue and Rob have thought about every detail, from the deck with fire table and Weber barbecue (where we also enjoyed watching the rufous hummingbirds) to the sleeping, cooking and other amenities. This is a great place for launching sea kayaks for an exploration of world class paddling waters or just settling in to watch the sunset with a nice glass of wine. Sue and Rob were great hosts and were available to attend to any of our needs, while respecting our privacy. If you are looking for serenity, quiet and dark skies at night with no interruptions, this is the place to go.

Bella Haven is a fantastic place to stay on Saturna Island! The view is amazing, and the guesthouse is thoughtful, cute, and comfortable. The hosts are fantastic and their dogs are adorable. No stay on Saturna would be complete without a trip to the amazing East Point so try and work that in as well. A fantastic getaway.

Wonderful location, great hosts

The cottage was just as described. The bed was very comfortable and the setting was great! Just beautiful! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We’d love to stay here again and would definitely recommend it highly.

Spectacular Saturna

This is a true gem! The beach house has stunning views, spectacular sunsets, and tasteful decor. Rob and Sue are exceptional hosts who thought of everything one could need during their stay. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely return!

The ocean view from the suite was incredible. The suite itself was extremely clean, updated and comfortable. Sue and Roy were friendly hosts. We really enjoyed our stay!
