Fantastic Spot

House was very clean. Kids loved the pool. Great location in close proximity to grocery, restaurants and short drive to the beach. Definitely worth it and will look to return again next year.

The house had everything we could possibly imagine: peaceful, back porch for meals and pool access; well stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepped meals if needed; pool had tones of floaties for the kids; backyard propane grill; beach towels, beach chairs and boogie boards; comfy beds and furnishings; and wow nice coffee maker and Ninja blender!!! Place was really clean and well maintained. Location was also great very close to the beach and close enough to nice restaurants! We loved our stay!

Very nice and clean house. Kids loved the pool. Great communication with the owner. About a 5-7 minute drive to siesta key beach. Would stay here again.

As good as advertised!

My family of 8 stayed at the Shiny Diamond over Spring Break and couldn’t be happier with the property. We had plenty of sleeping space, the pool and patio were truly as big as the pictures show, and communication with the host was seamless. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place to stay!

This was a great place to stay at. Lots of room, the amenities were great and it was very clean. We enjoyed the pool/spa and it was a short ride to the beach. Communication was great with the owners. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone else.

Great house, pool & location

Family with 6 & 8 year old boys. House is open & very spacious with nice kitchen. Pool & hot tub are very nice. Location 15 minutes from Siesta Key Public Beach and many Gulf Gate restaurants. Highly recommend.

Great property!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful month at The Shiny Diamond! We love the open layout of this home and the pool and hot tub. The house location is perfect for a trip to Siesta Key Beach and is surrounded by all the shops and restaurants you could possibly want.Our interactions with the owners/property managers were always easy. I recommend this home.

Amazing family vacation!

We loved the location- close to everything. The pool was amazing for our little kids- loved the sun deck! Clean and close to siesta key- about 9 min to the beach! Loved the large sliding doors so I could see the kids if they were taking a sun break- a great family vacation! Comes with beach chairs, wagon, and cooler for the beach.

Great location!

Property was great! The pool and hot tub are fantastic. We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and the house was perfect for us. Everything you’ll need is less than 10mins from the property. Siesta Key Beach was amazing and lived up to the hype. We payed the extra fee to heat the pool and hot tub, I would highly recommend this option at this time of year making night swims a highlight for the kids.

Winter 2024 Sarasota Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Even though the weather was unusually cool we made good use of the spa. The location made it easy to get Siesta Beach, many restaurants and golf courses. The property manager was very responsive to our questions and even brought us a new propane tank for the grill.

Sunny South vacation

We really had a great time staying at this place! It is in a quiet neighborhood. We are a family of 8 and this home was perfect for us all! The house has well furnished bedrooms! Well stocked kitchen. I did miss my Keurig coffee maker that I am used to having at home. There is a great coffe pot there so brewed my coffee like that which was fine but a Keurig would be a great addition to the kitchen in my opnion. :) We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you !

Great house, location, pool and price

Our teen daughters loved the big heated pool in October. Wife and I enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. The location was pretty central and close to beaches and downtown. House was clean and had most of what we needed for a week there. Price was hard to beat as well. Comfy beds and the grill worked out well. Thanks for a great vacation spot!

Spring break in Sarasota

We loved the Shiny Diamond! We had 3 moms and 6 boys and there was plenty of room for all of us. We really enjoyed the pool! It was very close to Siesta Key beach. The house was very clean upon arrival and communication with the host was great. I would highly recommend the Shiny Diamond!

A Great Family Vacation

We were in Sarasota to celebrate my mom’s 103rd birthday. I surprised her by bringing her three great grandchildren to visit. The accommodations were just right and the pool/spa was an added perk. The house is centrally located to many fun attractions as well as to my Florida family. Thank you!

Pulling up to this house, I was a bit worried. The outside could use some attention, but as we unlocked the door, we were met with an adorable, clean place for our family to make memories for the week. The location was very central for us to travel to the airport, to the beach, to shopping, to eat, etc. We didn't drive more than 25 minutes to get anywhere. The pool was what attracted us to this house, and it didn't disappoint. It was big enough for our 7 kids to play for endless hours, while I could sit on the tanning ledge and watch or try to read a book without getting splashed. The kitchen was well stocked, and the essentials were provided. Overall, it was a great place for our family to stay for the week!

Good time in Sarasota

The house itself was very good. Laid out well and very comfortable with all the required amenities of a rental property. The pool area was not addressed as well as the house, but the hot tub was very comfortable. The outside of the property was not maintained very well too. The neighborhood was very quiet but a little on the downside.

Paradise Close to the Beach

We had a lovely stay. It was close to the Siesta key beach (less than 15 min to the public beach parking with traffic), close to Costco (10 min), and Publix (4 min) by car. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The highlight was of course the pool, which was great for my kids. They even provided pool floaties! The spa was wonderful for my elderly parents. Beds were on the softer side, but still comfortable. It was perfect. We really didn’t want to leave.

Pulling up to the Shiny Diamond we were a bit concerned because it didn't look the nicest, but once inside, it was just like the pictures! Very clean and roomy! There was plenty of room for all 9 of us. The bunk beds were so nice and big and could easily sleep two people each. The beds were also very comfortable. The only complaint we had really is that the main shower did not drain well. We probably could've bought some draino and tried that but we didn't. We also didn't tell the owners it wasn't draining probably or they probably would have done something to fix the problem. They were very easy to communicate with. The property is a great location just minutes away from beautiful beaches, stores and restaurants! We would def stay here again!

great location!

the property is in a normal residential neighborhood but very close to shops/grocieries/dining/beach. Very quiet neighborhood. the property is nicely equipped, modern and comfortable. It was perfect for my wife and I to get away for a few days. The covered pool was nice, frankly we spent most of our time relaxing on the patio/pool area. they have thought of a lot of little details (towels for both the pool/beach, beach gear in the garage, etc....). already planning on coming back in spring!

Impressed!

I was super impressed with the amount of sleeping room. The owner maximized the space to the limit, so awesome! Perfect for larger families or those that like to travel with lots of friends. The pool was of course a great bonus that we utilized daily after a day in the sun. Decor was modern, and you immediately feel like you are home when you first walk in. And so close to everything, you are literally in the center of it all! Just minutes away from wherever you need to be! Overall just a wonderful spot. Will definitely like to return again.
