Beware of the HOA
My wife and I booked this rental on our first visit to Anna Maria Island. Upon making the reservation we ensured that the property was designated "pet freindly" because we usually travel with our two small-breed dogs. I messaged the property owner to make them aware and never heard back. Tow days before our departure, we recieved an email stating that our reservation only included one pet. I immediately contacted Sea Breeze Vacations and was told that I could only bring one dog and that was what I agreed to. The customer service representative I spoke to was very rude. She told me that I was dishonest and only had myself to blame to the misunderstanding. She proceeded to blame it also on the HOA guidlines. After a difficult concersatiom with my wife, we decided not to bring either dog.
Upon our arrival, the code to enter the property was not working properly. We had to call customer service again. After 30 minutes on trying to reach someone, the representative acted as of we were not using the keypad correctly. She finally gave us an alterate number that did work. Upon entering the property, it was apparent that it was not as nice as they were making it sound. There were stains on the furniture, missing cutains, and the kitchen was far from clean. In addition, we recieved complaints from the HOA concerning the parking pass not being visible in our rented golf cart. It was in plain view.
AMI was beautiful. I suppose my expectation was too high. Don't recommend.
