Dirty experience
When we arrived at 1:30am we walked into a room that had not been cleaned. Bed was not made, dirty towels in the bathroom floor, floors covered in dirt & hair, no clean towels, no toilet paper. We literally laid on top of the bed linens and covered up with beach towels. We were up & down all night because we just felt “dirty”. And because it was so late when we got there it was hard to find another place to go. So, I emailed the host and he answered me around 8am & said he could send his cleaning lady but I said no I want a refund & do not want to stay here. He offered me half of the one night stay & the cleaning fee. I was thinking ummm I’m willing to pay for the one night but refund me the rest of my money. He said they have a strict cancellation policy and I said I understand that but I also expect to show up to a place that has been cleaned and fresh linens on the bed and clean towels. We couldn’t even take a shower and had been on the road for like 8 hours. He finally agreed to half of my money back (which I think is still unfair) but I agreed to it. It was a terrible experience.
