The bed is awful including the one blanket with holes in it. Mattress is real bad.Bathroom door is broken, no toilet psper holder when we arrived. screen on glass sliding door did not slide.not an overall grest time for a high price

Our stay at this unit was pretty great. You could not beat the location to watch the sunset every day a few things about the unit. It was a good size for several days a week might’ve been too long as the store was very limited. The closet was filled up with some stuff that was probably not necessary so it was not usable. The Murphy bed did squeak so it was a little loud. It was overall comfortable. The pillows were not they need a huge upgrade. ! The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to do a little cooking inside. I would definitely stay again.

Steps away from the beach. Clean place with Murphy Bed, but they had a foam topper in the closet. Nice chairs and umbrellas with nice beach and pool. Would stay again

The bathroom was tiny and did not even include a toilet paper holder, hot water lasted barely 5 minutes each day, there are no closets (available for guest use) and nowhere to store luggage, and the Murphy bed was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep. Silverware and dishes provided were bare minimum.The only good thing about this stay was the beach access - it was as advertised but still did not make this stay a good value.

Perfect Sunsets

This is a quaint, efficient space with a beautiful location for perfect sunsets. We enjoyed breakfast and happy hour on the patio each day. The rental agency was quick to reply to calls and texts even though no one was on location in the office. The location is great. We walked to LBK Farmer's Market and enjoyed delicious meals nearby at Shore and Mar Vista Dockside. We spent a day at Sarasota Market and kayaked through the mangroves in Lido Key. We'd definitely go back and stay at The Beach #106.

Gorgeous location, the beach was exceptional and the area was quiet and felt secluded. The condo was a bit shabby but clean and had everything we needed.

Long Weekend Getaway

Wife and I came down from North Carolina for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay so much that we recommended it to my mother and her boyfriend who will be staying in May. Property manager and staff were super helpful and friendly.

Great and not so great

Will review the great part first....the beach is literally steps away and the pool even closer. We came here simply for that reason and it was a small condo at only 16 units. It allowed more of a quiet atmosphere without lots of people around. The bad...these units are so outdated and old and need to be redone. The furniture is old and ugly and uncomfortable. Not to mention the tv is on the wall and you can only see it if you are laying in bed...the sofa is under and away from the tv. I am sure this is because of the smallness of the room but as I said...it is very dated and not at all pleasing to look at. One more wonderful thing to add though...the rabbits who came out to nibble on the grass every morning and we had so much enjoyment out of watching them while drinking coffee. I just think they need to do more landscaping to update this condo unit and make this more pleasurable to be there. All in all...it was what we expected.

Anniversary get away

We have been coming down to Longboat Key for years with family but since it was just the two of us we didn’t need a bigger place, so my wife found The Beach on VRBO and we remember seeing The Beach as sometimes we have stayed next door. But it had a studio unit! Perfect! We loved the property! nicely maintained right on the beach and it is clean and small enough without being overcrowded! Great stay

Small room right on the beach

We liked the fact that the building is located right on the beach and it takes a minute to get the ocean. The bed is not comfortable though and squeaky. And there is no teapot.
