We had a pleasant stay with no issues. Pool was warm and beach was very nice with plenty of soft dry sand up top. They have lounge chairs for you to use in both of these areas.

The condo and location were beautiful. We were not happy with the cleanliness or communication during our stay. The sheets on the pull out couch were very dirty along with the spare sheets/pillow cases in the closet. There were actual crumbs and makeup all over the sheets. There was a half empty bottle of water found under the main bedroom bed when we arrived and a stray sock under the pull out couch. We also found the previous occupants makeup under the coffee table. When I messaged the property manager about the dirty sheets, they didnt respond until the following morning saying they would "let the operations team know". Shortly after, someone showed up to give us clean sheets but not to take the dirty ones or change the sheets themselves. The next day, around 5pm, while my daughters were swimming in the pool, a young boy pooped in the pool (diarrhea floating all around). We got out of the pool and immediately messaged the property manager but since they had left for the day, there was no one to respond (or close the pool to other guests!!) until 9am the next day. So the pool stayed open. I got a response to my message the next morning which again simply said they would let their operations team know. Later (early afternoon) the following day the pool was finally closed for service. There should absolutely be protocol in place for these types of situations. We loved the location but the cleanliness was below average and the communication was disappointing.

The place was clean and close to excellent restaurants. We assumed we were staying in the two story building but were in the rooms attached to the office. Had full kitchen and everything you need. The only downside...had lots of rain but that's Florida at this time of year!

Perfect Stay on the Beach

We had a relaxing, peaceful stay at Silver Sands right on a beautiful 10 mile beach. Our efficiency was comfortable and cozy with a functional kitchen for cooking in. We had access to umbrellas and chairs for the beach and poolside. Lots to do if you wanted to venture out or stay and walk the beautiful endless beach. We will be back!

The Perfect Place

We decided to go to Longboat Key last minute. We found Silver Sands and absolutely loved it! The manager was amazing. The unit was just as described. Clean and the location is amazing!

Silver Sands, Longboat Key Floriday

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation at Silver Sands. The unit was very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was steps to the beautiful beach and pool, no need to save chairs, there were plenty. Several restaurants were within walking distance. The weather was perfect!We will be back!

Great Location

Great location, friendly staff, vrbo needs updated cooking pots/pans dishes, etc. Probably to be expected after the hurricane, but if open, then these need to be updated so people staying have the ability to eat in while there. Otherwise, great stay, all you need for the beach!

Everything was perfect but unit itself was awfully outdated. Dirty windows, dust on the ceiling. Limited count saucepans. We had to buy two saucepans, shampoo, staff for dishwasher and washing machine. I think that facility requires renovation

Loved everything except!

Property was just perfect. The management was excellent. Tried to help us on our condo situation. Our bed and couch were awful. We covered the couch with a sheet. Was very dirty and the cushins were very uncomfortable. The bed was so uncomfortable we only had one person in the bed. I went and bought a blowup bed to sleep on. There wer a few things that did not work either.

Quite clean condo.
