Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.



    Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Will work was going on at the property we thought they were very professional and still had use of all the facilities .It was nice as we enjoyed the pool and easy access to the beach. We enjoyed our stay there very much. Thank you!

The Perfect Place

We decided to go to Longboat Key last minute. We found Silver Sands and absolutely loved it! The manager was amazing. The unit was just as described. Clean and the location is amazing!

Perfect Stay on the Beach

We had a relaxing, peaceful stay at Silver Sands right on a beautiful 10 mile beach. Our efficiency was comfortable and cozy with a functional kitchen for cooking in. We had access to umbrellas and chairs for the beach and poolside. Lots to do if you wanted to venture out or stay and walk the beautiful endless beach. We will be back!

The place was clean and close to excellent restaurants. We assumed we were staying in the two story building but were in the rooms attached to the office. Had full kitchen and everything you need. The only downside...had lots of rain but that's Florida at this time of year!

Silver Sands, Longboat Key Floriday

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation at Silver Sands. The unit was very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was steps to the beautiful beach and pool, no need to save chairs, there were plenty. Several restaurants were within walking distance. The weather was perfect!We will be back!

Stay was great. Pool was warm. Condo was clean and had everything we needed! Kid/family friendly which was the only downfall for us, but we knew that when booking!

Great Location

Great location, friendly staff, vrbo needs updated cooking pots/pans dishes, etc. Probably to be expected after the hurricane, but if open, then these need to be updated so people staying have the ability to eat in while there. Otherwise, great stay, all you need for the beach!

Enjoyed our stay. Condo was clean, close to the beach and many extras.

Great Place - Right on the Beach

Staff at Silver Sands are super friendly and helpful. Check-in and out couldn’t be more convenient. Condos are immaculate with everything you need on the property. Highly recommend.

Very quiet. Nice and clean pool. Our condo was really clean and had everything that we needed. Wasn’t crowded at all. Everyone in the office- and front desk were very friendly.
