The cottage was perfect. Clean. Comfortable. Beautiful pool. A 30 second walk to the most beautiful beach. Walkable to shop, cafes, bakeries. At the north end of the island so it’s quiet and private. Will definitely return.

The studio apartment was pretty perfect. It was a very short walk to the beach. It was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We appreciated the email prior with all the specifics and the manager texted us to make sure we had her contact info in case we needed it.

There were a few quirky things. Could not put the AC higher than 75 or it would freeze up the AC.We were only allowed 1 roll of TP we had to buy our own. And it said cookware is provided…1 small 6-8 inch skillet was supplied. And 1 small sauce pan. Everything else was fine.

Perfect but …

Shell Cottage was cute as can be . It was very clean , beautifully decorated and well equipped. However; there is an alarm on the entry door that is ear shattering. The check-in information states it is part of the rental license rules which I understand. There was no grey box on the outside of the door which can be pressed to allow entry within 45 seconds before the alarm goes off. There was a button on the inside that allowed us to leave the cottage.. I’m not sure I would stay here again because of this issue. Our neighbor was startled awake every evening we came in after 10pm.

Loved our stay

Cozy and darling one bedroom cottage w full kitchen that was well-stocked. Pool right outside the French doors of Shell cottage that was easily shared with the other 2 cottages. checkin somewhat difficult due to arriving midnight and darkness. We did manage to figure out code box without calling the manager. We are 65+tho so that may be why! Pool was well maintained… beach very short walk as in 100 feet or so. It was very hot on the island so we were in the pool or the gulf or enjoying our air conditioned cottage all of the time.

Shell cottage review

Shell cottage is a small cozy cabin. My daughter and family stayed at an adjoining cabin, so it was perfect. Very close to the beach, easy to walk back and forth. Pool was very nice and we divided up our time between the beach and pool. I would stay there again.

Great location for Adults

This property is located less than a block to the beach. The pool has a water feature that covers the street noise. The home is very small and well appointed. It had everything we needed. We met the adult guests in the adjacent unit that were a pleasure to meet. Due to the small property, I would recommend this property for adults only.

Anniversary Getaway

We stayed at this beautiful little cottage for our anniversary. It was perfect. The pool area is very relaxing and beautifully done. The house is perfect for 2 people and the kitchen is well stocked. The house is very close to the beach. We had never been to Anna Maria Island and we discovered it is a beautiful place to go to. Would definitely come back to this lovely cottage! Sharon was wonderful to deal with and gave us instructions for check in even when it was later in the evening!

Wonderful week.

My husband and I had a marvelous week at Shell Cottage. We had a change of plans and Leane was absolutely wonderful in working with us to make it work out. The unit is very small but very clean and comfortable. Perfect for two. We will definitely be back!

Cute cottage near the beach and east walk to Pine St

My wife and I needed a one bedroom place north of Pine St to be close to our daughter’s place. This was perfect, cozy, neat and clean. Shared pool was great. Nice pool furniture, landscape and pool deck. Small kitchen and bathroom worked for the two of us.

Post-Hurricane Ian oasis

Thoroughly cute property, lovely pool area, quiet neighborhood and only 4-5 houses from the beach. Sharon and Liane were super easy to work with and kept me well informed about the property post-Hurricane Ian. It was a nice little escape for a week. The couch needs to be replaced and the storage is a bit unusual, but I didn't care. Location, location, location!

Perfect location!

The cottage was the perfect size and setup for us. Location was great- steps away from the beach. The pool was refreshing. Highly recommend The Donut Experiment which was only a few blocks away . And last but not least- we got to see a few loggerhead hatchlings and help one to the ocean with the Sea Turtle Patrol!!
