They house and location were fantastic! We would definitely stay there again. Lisa was very friendly and accommodating. The girls loved the kayaks. Great set up for lots of guests, or a multi-family trip.

Everything was wonderful!!

This property was everything as advertised. The only thing you don't fully get from the pictures, is the beautiful setting and sunsets that you get. I will definitely rent again. Hosts are great people and had everything we needed.

Nice house -close to beaches

Nice area to stay Siesta beach a 30 minute drive away with beautiful sand Walking distance to Nokomis beach Venice is only a short drive awayHome had everything needed to cook in if desired Kayaks available although easy to get into, difficult to get out of at the dock Owner was responsive and quick to all questions Beach chairs available to use which was a nice additionWould definitely rent again

Wonderful stay!!!

The house is amazing. The owners were VERY responsive & caring. Pool is amazing. Beds are comfortable. Room for 4 couples!! Would definitely stay here again!!!

Our one week stay in Venice

We were very happy with renting this home for one week. It was in a quiet location with a beautiful view of the bay. The home worked very well for our group of seven, and conveniently located for shopping and days at the beach. We would rent from Lisa again.

Great waterside house with dock

Fun, clean, and open beach house that is perfect for large family gatherings and located right on Lyon’s Bay. The kitchen was fully equipped and great for barbecuing and the garage was full of pool toys and fishing equipment. Loved using the kayaks and the private dock. The owners are very friendly and accommodating.

Lovely waterfront location

Well appointed, updated 3-bedroom house and a separate 1 bedroom suite. Everything you need is there. Good selection of kayaks and interesting places to explore. Lovely sunset views. Small solar hearted pool overlooking the bay. Lisa and Jeff are lovely hosts and nearby if you need them. Bikes could be better - we used our own. Perfect space for families.

great place

/we really enjoyed our stay here. /the property was exactly as described-- swimming, kayaking, fishing right there.. also lots to do nearby/ pool is solar heated so only can get 10 degrees warmer than the air-- a bit chilly if it's not warm outside/ Lisa and Jeff were perfect hosts. highly recommend!

Family vacation

We had a great stay at Lisa's house in Nokomis. Location, layout, pool were all fantastic. Enjoyed paddling from the house and short drive to the beach. Hosts were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Some of the kitchen items, mattresses and sporting equipment could use a refresh.

Overall good stay

Overall a very nice stay. Very quiet and relaxing. The house is spacious with an detached apartment. Issues: Note on thermostat not to turn below 76° due to some kind of issue (not a new note). This can be a problem in Florida considering it’s very hot. There was used soap left in the showers. AC for detached apartment had clogged filter and AC did not work until we cleaned the filter

Beautiful home on the water with a dock for the boat! Excellent fishing getaway!!

Had a great time the house had all the amenities we wanted and more! Lisa was very accommodating and very friendly! Would 100% rent again. Took the boat down and we were able to dock up right in the back yard we fished day and night and had a blast with the Snook, Mangroves, redfish and sea trout. Can't wait to do it again!!

BEWARE ! PROPERTY NOT AS DESCRIBED GET A HOTEL

First of all, when we drove up we didn’t know if we were at the right property bc the garage door was up and there was so much junk all over that we thought someone lived there! They charge A lot of money for it to look like that when you drive up! Once we got inside it was boiling hot, 3pm and it was 78 degrees in the house. So the house could cool down, we all decided to swim, we went out to the pool area to the smallest pool In Florida! Came in from swimming the temp had gone up to 79. The pictures are very deceiving of pool !The house was advertised as renovated ,well…not the A/C because we were told keep the setting at 72 degrees sign, don’t go out the doors but after we complained, the sign mysteriously got change, while we were at the beach to 76 ????? It never reached 72 it was 79-80 the two days we stayed in that missable humid ,hot house. I messaged the owner on vrbo very nicely...the air may need to be looked at bc this was day two of the heat index at 104 and we were all hot, A few minutes later Lisa (owner) sent her husband over unannounced (they live next door) he pounded on the door like the police…as to our surprise, he was standing there barefoot and sweaty and asked if we were having a problem with the air. I replied “can you send someone like an a/c professional to service the system. He then said “ let me look at it “ he barged past me at the door before I could decide if I wanted him to come in or not! He goes over and stood at the thermostat (giving lessons on how the Florida heat is outside). I have lived in Florida and I am aware of extreme heat. I also requested he and Lisa call before coming over so, we know who to expect.The husband then left very angry and slammed the door so hard that it rattled the windows as my famiIy and I are all in the living room to witness his behavior. Earlier that morning 9:30 am the husband was on the garage unannounced getting landscaping materials working off the garage with a wagon, it scared us bc we didn’t know who he was. He was wondering around while we were eating breakfast. Absolutely Unexceptable ! We left that afternoon and contacted VRBO immediately after the” slamming door incident”the inferno house and the privacy issues. The owner was also sending long text about her husbands actions of which she was not there! She was very unreasonable with refunding $$ ,we left due to the conditions of the property and rented a hotel that nite. I did not go far enough back on the reviews !

This house was great for me and my family. Plenty of room and a nice location. The manager was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. We would definitely like to stay there again .

We enjoyed the variety of things to do with the pool , access to the water ways, and close proximity to many beaches and restaurants. Also the neighborhood is beautiful! Great host and house!

Family Time

What a lovely place to stay. Right on the water. We texted our arrival time and the garage door and home was open and ready for us to enjoy. Husband and I stayed in the side house, while each of our sons/spouses had their own lovely bedroom (one with it's own bathroom) and the 3 grandchildren had a room to themselves. The cabinets have more than enough cooking gear, the refrigerator had some condiments which was really nice, the cabinets had plenty of spices, and the grill was clean and ready to go. Lovely pool and plenty of pool toys. Assorted Jenga and other games for the kids. We were even able to take some of their beach chairs and sand toys down to the nearby Nokomis beach for some waves and relaxation. A note in their guestbook said they'd stayed there for 3 months and now we understand why. We' absolutely stay there again. Thank you Lisa.

Life is wonderful

This was our second time staying at Palmetto Crescent. We thoroughly enjoyed our two months. The home, the neighbors, the owners Jeff and Lisa and the location we were all A-1 We are already booked for next year and I can hardly wait to get there. Jeff and Lisa were delightful as owners and as new friends
