Pros: This was great for our five night stay. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Plenty of pillows. Kitchen had what we needed for our meals. Nice spaces for hanging out. Pool in good shape. We hung out in the backyard a lot. Plenty of towels- bath and pool. We spent a day at the beach and they had three chairs, an umbrella and coolers and beach bags. (Our family who stayed in other VRBOs in the area had none of that.)
Cons: no blankets for beds just a sheet and a super thin covering that I’m not sure is washed between guests. There were small blankets/throws but they smelled bad and so we didn’t use those.
Overly decorated. We had to move stuff just to be able to have table/bathroom space for our things.
But this is also some of the charm of the place.
Pool was heated to 90. Outside temp was about 85 so it felt like getting in a warm bath. I asked if we could get it turned down and was told I needed to tell them three days before- which of course, I had no way of knowing the pool would be that high. Low 80s seems like a better pool temp once weather is so warm.
When we arrived, all of thr outside pool lounger cushions were ripped and dirty/almost moldy. I let manager know so that we weren’t faulted for that. We flipped them over and it was fine. But a weird first impression.
