A good spot
We are long term seasonal renters at Lido Key. This property, however, was new to us this year and was chosen primarily because it survived much of the storm damage that impacted much of Sarasota. The building is well located with short walks to St. Armand’s and the beach. The pool is really great and we often found ourselves there all by ourselves. It is a quiet building with respectful owners. They expect the same of you which we welcomed. The unit itself was clean and comfortable, but should be updated in the next few years. The owner lives overseas but it is well managed by Orquera Property Management. In particular, our primary contact was Clara and she was friendly, responsive and helpful. The on-site managers, Al and Rose, were delightful and made us feel welcome. A nice attraction to this unit is its large outdoor patio which was a great place to have our morning coffee or an evening cocktail. One drawback was our neighbor next door, a very friendly and nice guy, frequently smoked cigarettes on his patio and depending upon wind direction, this could be unpleasant for us. This is really the only complaint we have about this property. Otherwise, we enjoyed our 3 month stay very much.
