I’ll start by saying this property had everything that it listed it had. For the most part it was clean, a great location and had a great pool/fenced in yard. However, here are the reasons why I didn’t give it a five star review. First, I asked for an early check-in which the host was gracious with and said check in anytime. That she would have the cleaning service come the day before. When I arrived, beds were not made, the home was not fully cleaned and it looked like the cleaning people had left for an emergency and was going come back, but that never happened. Secondly, there are literally zero safety rails in the house. This includes the pool ( with a 3 foot drop) the tubs( even higher than the pool) , and the showers (which were very slippery) so if you’re traveling with an elderly person or even just someone that may slip in the tub ( which my 24 year old son did ) you might want to consider this. I was also surprised that the lawn person came to cut the back 2 times and when we were literally in the pool one day, a pool guy came to treat it and we were asked to get out for at least an hour. I would schedule those services when I didn’t have people staying in my property. Lastly, the beds are harder than rocks. So if you have back problems or can’t sleep on a hard surface, this isn’t the right choice for you. Again, this is just my experience… and as I said, we got what was advertised.
