We enjoyed ourselves during the week of Christmas. What a great location, short distance to Siesta key and easy to see family in Sarasota/ Bradenton! The house had absolutely everything we needed, just like home. We relaxed so well and slept very very well in the comfortable beds. What a fabulous property - we will be back! Thank you for the perfect accommodations!!!!!

This rental is the perfect stay and getaway. The hosts have thought of every essential and need to have while you enjoy your stay. From the amazing outdoor space to the beautiful inside layout as well as decor. There wasn’t one extra thing we had to pick up or stock because they have it all covered. Truly a great experience and will continue to rent when in town.

Fun friends' week

We enjoyed a week at BHR getting some sun and visiting local friends! The house was cute and immaculate, the yard/pool area were beautiful, and the kitchen/BBQ were great and well equipped. It was a wonderful home, well/centrally located, in an older, less cookie-cutter SRQ neighborhood. Communication with property owners was smooth, and we had great fun. Would stay there again if we're in Sarasota. My only (very) minor quibble is that the pool temp was pretty warm for July heat, but even that was improved by one afternoon of Florida summer rains. Otherwise it was terrific!

I can’t say enough positive things about this house or our experience. The house was so comfortable, so much attention to detail, so well stocked. Beds were really comfortable. Master suite has huge TV, beautifully decorated, great bathroom and on opposite side of the house as the other rooms. Backyard and pool were like a spa experience. Host and property manager are super responsive. We come to Sarasota 3-4 times a year, this is one of the better homes we’ve stayed at. Great location too!

My daughter was in the US Rowing National finals. We required, excellent sleep, a close proximity to the venue, the ability to make clean food, and relax in peace and quiet in the down times. The beds, linens, black-out curtains, absolute cleanliness, saltwater pool, a bathtub for mineral soaks, and peaceful location were all perfect. We hope to be back next year. Thank you for making everything so amazing for our stay.

Great Time

We stayed at the property from 5/22 to 5/29 and had a great time. There were 5 of us - 4 adults and one 3 year old. The pool and the backyard was a great place to relax and enjoy time together. Everything you could possibly need was at the house. Would stay there again.

Boutique Resort

Every detail of this house inside and out is beautiful! The backyard feels like you are staying at a boutique resort that you get all to yourself. Great location to beaches and all that Sarasota and the surrounding areas have to offer. There is also a bike/walking trail behind the house for early morning walks. Very clear communication with the owner and great welcome book full of great recs for your stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful place

The Blue Heron ranch is absolutely stunning. So clean and beautifully decorated. The host was easy to work with and so was Adam the property manager was excellent to work with as well. We definitely recommend staying here as it close shopping, beaches & restaurants

Blue Heron is BEAUTIFUL

The property is perfect. Pictures of outdoor space do not do justice. Such a beautiful property and has everything stocked and ready for you to just show up with your suitcase. The property manager is amazing with communication and everything was well explained and ready for our family. Found our new favorite Sarasota spot for when we visit

Resort Home Comfort

We rented the house for two months, January and February. On arrival (New Years Eve) we found a bottle of Cava on the counter with two champagne glasses. This was a wonderful welcoming touch. We have a lot of good things to say about Blue Heron Ranch and would highly recommend it to others. The site managers are very responsive – literally they are there in an instant if anything needs to be addressed. House is as advertised- well appointed, well supplied- especially the kitchen. If you love to cook they essentially have everything you are likely to use/need including a knife sharpener, microplane grater, etc. Great pans, nice dishes (Crate and Barrel) nice glassware, and wine glasses, and three corkscrews. The Wifi was fast enough and the TVs are both smart TVs. The beds are comfortable with nice sheets. In the garage there are chairs, umbrellas, and a cart for the beach. In addition, a lot of inflatables/floaters for the pool. The pool is heated and is cleaned once a week by the pool maintenance service. The backyard is a perfect place to relax with many wonderful seating areas and lounge chairs, and a large teak dining table. The grill was replaced while we were here and the new grill is a Cadillac. There are also separate utensils for the grill and outdoor glasses/plates/bowls (plastic) to avoid getting glass by the pool. The house is just next to the Legacy Trail- great for walking, running or biking (bring your own bikes and helmets). We were so pleased with the property, the management and the location that we made a booking for next year.

Das Anwesen war sehr schön und entsprach 1:1 der Beschreibung. Es ist sehr gepflegt innen und außen und der Poolbereich lädt zum Verweilen ein. Very Nice property

Property was very nice, clean and tastefully decorated. Loved the pool. Property is in an older (but nice) neighborhood but location was very convenient. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, etc. Would definitely lease this property again.

Sibling vacation trip

Unfortunately we lost our mother to Covid in August 2021 and we had not been able to bring her ashes to FL until June 2022. We found the perfect house for our family affair. The house had everything we needed and more. It really helped so we didn't have to bring so much stuff. The location is wonderful for whatever you are looking for. The recommendations in the book for restaurants was spot on (we are happy to say we agreed with their recommdations). The pool and lounging area outside was great for those sunny days and getting in some swim time. The walking trail down the street is nice so bring your tennis shoes if you want to get a quick walk in.

Oasis

This house was amazing! The backyard is to die for… perfect place to relax and have fun with the family. The house has everything you need for a vacation. It’s about a 15 minute drive to the beach. If you have kids, check out Turtle Beach. For food, groceries… nothing is really more than 20 minutes from the house. It’s a great location, plenty of amenities, and a beautiful house inside and out. We would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful and relaxing

The hosts were very easy to work with, responded to all questions promptly. The house is next to Legacy trail, perfect for walks, running and biking. The neighborhood is very quiet. Loved hanging out at the pool all week! We would definitely come back again!
