The condo was perfect for our stay. The beach access was unparalleled accompanied by comfortable beach chairs and sturdy beach umbrellas, which we made good use of.

Horrible- do not stay here.

Not at all experience/ stay expected, especially for price. 1.) Units garbage disposal needs changed. Smells like horrible fish/ rancid smell. After host was contacted management company to address, they simply but garbage disposal tabs and thought would do the trick. Did not, and sink opening had to be covered whole stay. 2.) Mold around sink base, look like they tried to be covered up by white caulk. 3.) HVAC filter looked like it has not been changed in forever. Maintenance changed after requested, but could see nothing but dust in utility closed. I have pics for proof. 4.) Leaking faucets. 5.) Battery acid on x-box remotes which children touched. 6.) View is not desirable as you have to stand up to even see view. 7.) Guests upstairs were up well into middle of night, and constant noise. 8.) 1 washer/ dryer for 4 units, very loud, never cleaned inside. Had re-wash clothing when returned home. 9.) Patio very run down, and did not feel clean to sit outside. 10.) Overall would never ever stay at this place. Felt dirty, barely taken care of, and frankly a waste of money. Charge such as high rental for such a horrible unit. I read other reviews prior, and I suggest don't trust them. Seek elsewhere if you don't want to waste almost 3 grand for 4 nights.

Poor management

Reported problems with all the TVs on day two nobody came to repair them let them know my dissatisfaction at check out and she said she’d pass the message on to the correct department. I have not received email or phone call from anyone.

Great Location Choice

Overall we were very pleased. A bit smaller than we expected, as the dining room is the screened porch, and the laundry room is not in the unit but shared by at least four units. The location puts you within easy walking distance of a half dozen really good restaurants. The private beach is nice, with lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas if needed. Wonderful spot. Only suggestions we would make would be to upgrade the barstools, as they had no cushoning and you felt like you were sitting on a wood frame. Very uncomfortable. We want to stay longer next year and hope we can make that happen.

First time in Longboat Key and can't wait to return! We feel fortunate to have stayed in the best unit in the perfect property for us. #3 had everything we needed and more, as well as prime access to a pristine beach area. Loved everything about our stay!

Really enjoyed the condo. It was super clean, very well supplied with both beach equipment and kitchen supplies. It was as described and literally on the beach. Our first time in Long Boat Key but will definitely be returning.

Beach perfection

A quick walk via the beach path and you are on the beautiful gulf. It was great with our kids. We cooked a lot in the well stocked kitchen. We had concerns that laundry would be an issue since it is not inside the unit, but was just steps away and we didn't have to wait. We will eventually be making a return trip, hopefully with friends taking another unit.

Easy access to the beach, entry level condo. We truly enjoyed our time celebrating birthdays and Mother’s Day. Supplied extremely well for beach activites. We never did get the Wi-Fi to work, two different extremely long passwords provided, neither worked. Comfortable beds.

Only steps from the beach!

Our family of four enjoyed waking up and stepping right onto the beach. The apartment feels brand new, clean and the kitchen is fully stocked with kitchenware so we were able to fix meals.

This was by far the nicest condo I've stayed in. The kids room was so nice, with two beds and a full bath to themselves, the Xbox unfortunately didn't work, they were bummed about that. Our room also had a very nice shower and bed, we all slept so comfortably! The ocean was in plain sight from the breakfast bar, I loved seeing that while feeding the kids breakfast! They provide a starter kit with a sponge/dish soap and dishwasher powder, so don't make the mistake of buying that. The laundry room was about 12 feet away on the same level, you do need to bring your own detergent but it's free (no quarters needed) very helpful to have it so close! The ocean is obviously just a short walk away down a private path, and the free umbrella's and coolers to borrow were also a nice perk. Loved every minute of our stay :) The woman in the office was also nice enough to write down suggestions on where to eat & things to do. Things we enjoyed: Harry's continental cuisine, The Lazy Lobster, Anna Maria City Pier, the ice cream shop across from the pier was also really good!

Well maintained property

Beach Castle Resort was perfect for my husband and me. The unit was accurately portrayed, comfortably appointed, and the owner's personality seemed to radiate hospitality. This was our first visit to Longboat Key, and I hope we can return. Kudos! Tom and Stephanie
