Beach Castle #2 was exactly as described and we were very happy with the accommodation. It was fully equipped, had a screened deck with beautiful Gulf breezes and views. The rental process from start to finish was seamless. We really enjoyed our time there.

We enjoyed the screened balcony where we spent most of our time when we were not at the beach. Beautiful views of the Gulf and beach. We appreciated the laid back vibes of Longboat Key in general and of our Beach Castles rental. It was really a wonderful rental.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always a great time , we have stayed at beach castle 6-7 years .the bed broke in the kids room and they had to sleep on floor , maintenance came and bent leg back by hand and it broke again , the next day maintenance came back and changed bed frame.The rear slider won’t lock on one side , the guy to the right walked in on us and scared my daughter in law and scared her saying he came in wrong unit. That needs fixed. Moulin on bathroom floor tile, the couch had stains on cushions and there needed to be a nicer couch and chair and add a chair , there wasn’t enough places to set

My parents used to bring me and my 5 sibling for 3 weeks in the summers - late 1970’s through 1989. The McCalls owned Beach Castle at the time. I was THRILLED to find the peace and care of property is equal to that time I was last here. My husband and I truly relaxed! We enjoyed the beach view tremendously. Unit 2 was perfectly equipped. Bed was very comfortable. And I was so happy I finally got to use the “twisty stairs” :)

RVA falls short of providing good management

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented Beach Castle through RVA on Longboat Key. The place / location was great (condo itself is awesome but the value provided by RVA is little to none). RVA overcharged for location given other rental prices in area. You would expect for $20K rental charge for a month that you would have a working grill on the property. The grill has not been updated in three years and is so dirty and in such disrepair it is unusable. Perhaps invest one night of my stay and buy a new grill for other guests. In addition they removed the picnic table and never replaced it. This was our third strait year of renting this property through RVA but we will most likely look for alternatives moving forward.

We love Beach Castle .... except for some small things

We’ve been coming to beach house or for about 10 years. Stayed a few of the units with beach view. This time we went stayed in unit 2. It is a beautiful unit with great decorations and a perfect view of the beach. The only negative (and it’s a big one) is the extremely firm mattress in the master bedroom. It was very uncomfortable and the bed frame creaked with every movement. Also the management only issues one parking pass per unit. You needed more for guests or visitors they offered an overflow lot over a half mile away. That was not acceptable since there were plenty of empty spots in the lot. The last problem was the red tide. While not the fault of the condo owner or the management, someone should have posted information about the beach conditions or warned about swimming.

Best condo of the group. Awesome view of the beach

Condo was great and view of the beach was amazing. One note I would like to add is the stair case on the beach side is held up by zip ties which is definitely a concern but didn’t stop us from using them. Just wanted others to be aware.
