    Welcome to “COZY” at Barefoot Bungalows, a charming first-floor cottage located in the heart of Siesta Key. Just 1,000 feet from the beach and only two blocks from Siesta Key Village, this location truly can’t be beat. Beach Access #3 is only 1,500 feet away, with Beach Access #2 just steps in the other direction — no car needed!

    Originally built in 1945, Barefoot Bungalows is a classic Florida triplex offering simple beach charm at a value you won’t find elsewhere in the area. Nestled between multi-million-dollar complexes, “COZY” delivers comfort, character, and an unbeatable location at a budget-friendly rate.

    The Space

    This 2-bedroom, 1-bath turnkey rental comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests and includes:

    King bed in the primary bedroom with glass door to a private patio.

    King bed in the second bedroom.

    Spacious living area with full-size sofa and two chairs.

    Flat-screen TV and complimentary WiFi.

    Fully stocked kitchen with appliances and dish-ware for 4–6 guests.

    Breakfast table with seating for two + kitchen bar with three stools.

    Large walk-in shower.

Amazing location only five minute walk to the beach, private beach, was not near crowded as a main beach. Would definitely stay here again. Five minute walk to all the main restaurants, it was perfect.

This was such a great value for how close we were to the beach! While there is not a beach view, it’s about a 30 second walk and you are right there on the sand.

The facility is dated but comfortable. There is no pool so the beach is the only choice The house needs an exterminator as roaches were in kitchen. Linens were all clean and fresh. Great location!

This property was FANTASTIC for our girls trip! The house is located just a short block to the beach, and just a short 4 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Even though the downtown area was "loud", once you got to the house the noise was gone and we enjoyed many quiet nights on the back patio! Beds were comfortable, beach equipment was great, a perfect stay!

Our stay in Siesta Key was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property was exceptionally well cared for and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The home was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our vacation.The location was one of the biggest highlights. We were close enough to enjoy all that Siesta Key has to offer, including the beach, restaurants, and village atmosphere, while still having a peaceful place to unwind at the end of the day. The property made it easy to enjoy both the excitement of the island and the tranquility that makes Siesta Key so special.The accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. Every detail seemed designed to make guests feel at home. Whether enjoying morning coffee, returning from the beach, or simply relaxing in the evening, this property provided the perfect setting.Communication with the hosts was excellent throughout the entire process. They were responsive, welcoming, and clearly committed to ensuring guests have a great experience.We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals over the years, and this one ranks among our favorites. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding Siesta Key getaway.

Perfect for girls' week, all the comforts of home with short walk to the beach ! Lisa was very responsive when the TV stopped working. She had a new TV set up for us while we were at the beach. She was also helpful with giving us information on things to do in Sarasota because it was raining. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was supplied with what we needed. We enjoyed the patio as well as the beach supplies.I'm hoping to stay again in the future. This is the best vacation home I've stayed at, we vacation often so therehas been plenty of places to compare.

Very clean and decorated very cute. Our air did go out, but Lisa had it repaired. Lisa is so friendly and welcoming. This is my 4th year staying at Barefoot Bungalows. I hope to make it 5 years in 2027. Her cleaning service it the best. They go out of their way for instance dish towels are tied in a bow. Lisa even supplies fresh flowers too.immediately. This

It was our 2nd time staying here. Has everything we need including beach chairs. Beach umbrella didn't work great however. And a few things missing from the unit such as scissors & cork screw. Lisa, the host/manager took care of it quickly when I asked. Location is perfect, near the village & beach.

Perfect location! Walk to the beach or village for food. The place includes all the beach gear you need (plenty of towels, beach chairs, umbrella and wagon). Comfortable beds and very clean!

Very clean! Host was amazing! So accommodating. We had a problem during the stay and they handled it quickly and efficiently and made us feel very comfortable for our entire stay. We have stayed at their other properties and they are just as wonderful with each one. No matter how much you paid for your stay. They are perfect hosts!! Will definitely be staying again
