We’ve stayed in a number of different accommodations in Sarasota and this was the best. We particularly liked that the property was in a quiet location off the beaten path. The pool was exceptionally clean and inviting. The kitchen, unlike many that we have experienced in the past, was extremely well stocked With every amenity necessary for meal preparation. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that I would say needed improvement is there were some very bright lights on the exterior and it was at times too light in the bedrooms even with the shades drawn. It might be a good idea to have some kind of blackout shade in the bedroom or figure out a way to turn off those exterior lights. Overall I highly recommend this place. We would stay there again

The apartment was charming, very clean, and accurately represented in the listing. We were in Lido Beach for business, however, and unfortunately there was no Wi-Fi in the unit for the entire four-night stay. We contacted the host daily, and although maintenance was sent each time, the issue was never resolved. As a result, we were unable to use our laptops for work, and we also couldn’t watch TV during our stay. Additionally, there was a constant drip in one of the showers, which added to the overall inconvenience.For guests traveling purely for leisure, this property would likely be a great fit. I requested a partial refund due to the inconvenience and received 50 back from the more than 1,200 we paid.

Beautiful place. Needs more kitchen items (pots, colander, kitchen towels, pitcher). Could not access the pool from the back door because the landscaping was overgrown and covering the path. Internet for tv streaming was poor. Great location. Clean!

Great location!

The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the convenience of the laundry as well as the quiet setting for enjoying the pool. The beach is a short walk and with the nature preserve just feet away we saw really cool birds!

Little Gem!

The property is beautiful. The updates are very nice, some need to be finished and tweaked. :) Pool was very nice and clean. Grounds are kept clean. They are still working on a few areas on the property since the hurricane which is understandable. We drove to the beach. You could walk but for us, too far in the heat. Beaches are very nice. South and public. South has lots of shells! When leaving we were stopped by a lady who rents nearby and wanted to let the owners know how great of a job was done on the grounds and how beautiful it looks! Please add an iron and ironing board to unit. We would return!

Simple Simon, no fuss no muss.

Perfect little spot for the 5 of us. We don’t mind sleeping as a family together as it reminds us of the old days. Stayed for 5 nights and we enjoyed it very much. Simple and easy walk to town and the beach. Would stay here again.

comfortable and clean for 2 queens, great parking in front no dishwasher but fully equipped could use a keurig (hotel 5 cup) has a nice coffee "press" didn't use xplorie but thinking it would be awesome for younger people , fun shops and great restaurants $$$

Great Location

We have stayed in this community previously and love the area. We had an issue with the AC but the host was quick to respond and remedy the situation. We will be back to Lido again soon.

Lovely Stay Shy The Mattresses

It was a lovely place at Lido, but mattresses really matter to us and they were way too hard/firm and we didn’t sleep well. The coffee maker was the other negative, we had to make 2 pots per day. A 12 cup black and decker coffeemaker would be a great $25 investment.

Disappointed

This “ condo”is proof that pictures do lie. Let me start by saying that the location of this property is excellent. You can walk everywhere. The beds were pretty comfortable. However, It’s downhill from there. There is not one comfortable chair in this place and the tired sofa and chairs were filthy. We had to cover them with towels before sitting on them. Spent our brief time indoors sitting on bar stools. We eventually brought the dirty porch chairs inside. The kitchen cabinets were actually greasy. Our white socks quickly became black on the bottoms from the dirty floors. There is very little closet space, like next to nothing. The closet is filled with a vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies and the air conditioner. No room to hang more than a handful of items.There is no way 6 people could stay here comfortably. It would be impossibly crowded. I woke to a giant cockroach in the bathtub. The washing machine was broken for our entire stay. Called the management four times and ,although they answered promptly, they did not do anything to remedy the problem, or return our money. We finally had to drive 20 minutes to a sketchy laundromat. The pool furniture was broken, dirty and sparse. We spent as little time as possible indoors, which was hard to do with the red tide. For the money, this place was a HUGE disappointment. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Great location. Easy check in and out. Pictures are very deceiving as far as the size. Sleeping 6 is really tight. If it’s only 2-4 people it’s perfect. Pool was nice. If you like lido key and you have a small party. You really can’t beat the price. We would go again. Just a smaller group. Place was clean and updated nicely. Shower needs some shelves for soup and shampoos so your not picking them up off the floor.

Everything you need at Lido Key

My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay at this property. Good sized living room separated from the bedroom so an early riser won’t disturb a sleeping partner. Two bathrooms were a great convenience when returning from the beach. Perfect location for walking to restaurants, beach and kayaking! We had bikes delivered to do some daily riding around the neighborhood. We plan to book this condo again.

Dirty and much smaller and outdated than appears in photos

This unit is advertised as sleeping six, however it doesn’t mean it should. It is very very very small and was tight for half that amount of people - 3 adults. Upon entering the unit, it smelled very moldy and stagnant. Bathrooms were not clean with hair around the shower drains and dirty faucet handles. No privacy in bathroom off living room as the barn style door doesn’t close completely and leaves a large gap for anyone to see through. Poorly thought out design. Toilet seat in the bathroom in the bedroom is the wrong size (too small) so you’re constantly slipping around. No bath towels provided, just some beach towels and one dirty/stained hand towel. Beds were uncomfortable and pillows were cheap and flat. Location is run down and a bit sketchy. I was very nervous about leaving valuables in the unit while out. Walk to the beach takes much longer than 7 minutes, especially when carry beach chairs, cooler, etc. Overall, poor design, dirty and unaccommodating. It’s obvious that the bear minimum is being done to maintain this unit. I felt ripped off as it’s very overpriced for subpar quality. Couldn’t wait to leave. I wouldn’t stay here again.
