  • Enjoy this quaint cottage-style home. This home was freshly painted inside & outside & has all new stainless appliances fall of 2024. Both bedrooms are made up with beautiful designer linens and pillows. The living room has a new 55' flat screen TV. Master bedroom has a King bed with 48' flat screen TV. Guest bedroom has a queen size bed. This home is equipped with WIFI, cable TV and washer/dryer. A queen size air mattress is available upon request. ***Please note this is a NON SMOKING home.

    Full kitchen with Keurig coffee maker and everything you could need in this home away from home. The eating area seats 4 and overlooks a screened porch. Outside seating for 4 and a private fenced backyard. Enjoy the gas grill or hammock for those lazy day, relaxing moments. Two bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach towels & beach toys are available on site for your use.

Always like staying here. Its so convenient to everything. The neighborhood is quiet, beaches and restaurants close by, and the owner leaves you a generous "starter pack" of supplies. One of the best things about this house is it's always clean when you arrive. Can't wait to return!

Another Nice Stay

This is the second stay at this property. Each stay has been great and suited our needs. The location works well for our trips to visit family in the area. Nancy is terrific and we would definitely look at staying here on a future trip.

Spring Vacation

Had a wonderful time. Everything was very clean & just right. House (cottage) was really close to the beach, stores & restaurants. Location was great. We will definitely stay here again.

Made a Great Weekend Even Better!

The house had everything we possibly could need for a relaxing weekend on the beach. The backpack straps on the beach chairs made it so easy to get set up for a day on the beach!

Spring Break Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was comfortable and fit our needs It was centrally located to the places we wanted to visit. We appreciated all the beach gear that was available and the use of two bicycles as they made our adventures better.

Clean, Comfortable Cottage with Quick Access to Gulf Beaches

We had a very pleasant one week stay. The beds were comfortable, the house was spotless and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive. We look forward to staying here the next time we are in Sarasota.

I rented this property for a month long job assignment. The house was perfect for my needs. Nancy has thought of everything, the house is fully stocked with all needed items. Weber grill in the backyard, beach chairs in the garage, bikes for your use and a wonderful lanai to enjoy at the end of the day. Close to beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Don’t hesitate to book this cottage, you won’t regret it.

We liked everything very much, the house was very clean and cozy, the house has everything you need for a vacation, everything you need for the beach. We are very happy with our vacation in this house. The only downside for us is that the beds are very high, but everything else is fine.

We stayed for a short break. Central to everything we needed. Short drive to Siesta and Lido key.Visited the farmers market on Saturday, worth the visit.Villa was clean and well equipped. Master bed was huge and comfortable.Local to a variety of shops and restaurants.

Great stay as always!

Enjoyed our stay in Nancy's house over the 4th. House was comfortable and well appointed, as always, and we had a nice treat to be able to see outstanding fireworks from the back yard! Location is great, neighborhood is quiet - a most enjoyable stay!

We had an amazing time in Sarasota. From the host, to the house/location, and beaches, we had an amazing time. Host was very quick with her responses. House was very clean. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Quick drive to multiple benches. Would definitely return.

Perfekt für einen Besuch Siesta Beach

Nettes liebevoll gestaltetes Ferienhaus. Bietet sämtliche Annehmlichkeiten. Es ist sogar ein hochwertiges Beach equipment inkl. Handtücher vorhanden. Die Lage haben wir als sehr praktisch empfunden. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Comfy and Great Location

We had a great stay in this little house. I loved that everything for a trip to the beach was provided including sand toys, chairs, towels, umbrella, noodles, a cooler, and a bag. The kitchen is also fully stocked. The king bed is incredibly comfortable. The house was very clean too. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return again.

Always a great stay here!

Stayed for 10 days in March. The house is very convenient - beach is just minutes away, grocery close by, as are restaurants. House is in a quiet neighborhood and has very comfortable beds. Screened in porch always a plus! Check in process couldn't be easier, and Nancy is a most excellent host, providing a generous 'starter kit' of necessities for you. This is our 3rd time staying here, and we will be back!

Nice Rental

Nice rental with a convenient location. Not far from Siesta Key Beach, stores, etc. Home had what we needed and owner was very helpful and responsive. We felt very comfortable even with the passing of Tropical Storm Debby (which became Hurricane Debby)! The neighborhood offered great opportunity for walks. We would stay again!

Sarasota Stay

Nancy was great. We had an issue with the plumbing (toilet would not flush), she got a plumber over right away. The location is very close to Siesta Key beach and the strip of restaurants. We had a great time at the cottage.

Nice stay

House was clean. Lots of cookware, bakeware, dishes. Location was convenient to beach, shopping and restaurants. Communication with owner was good and any questions were answered promptly. Nice to have washer and dryer in unit .

Cozy cottage in convenient neighborhood.

My husband and I spent the 2023 winter in Nancy and Doug's comfortable cottage in Gulf Gate. We enjoyed eating out on the lanai. The neighborhood is pleasant, quiet and a great place for taking a walk or riding the bikes. It is an easy drive to Siesta Beach and Myakka River State Park. It was also easy to get downtown. There are lots of good restaurants nearby, as well as grocery stores and a CVS.

Couldn't Have Been Better!

Nancy is about the nicest and most accommodating hostess I have rented from. Her house was only 15 minutes from Siesta Key Beach and surrounding areas. It was very easy and convenient to get to. The bonus was that everything you needed to go to the beach with - she had it. The AC worked amazingly great, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything necessary to cook and or make coffee.
