  • Relax and unwind at Our Mountain Oasis! Our 3 bedroom, 3 bath, single story home is easy on your back, no need to lug suitcases up or down flights of stairs. The open floor plan provides the perfect gathering place for family and friends but when it is time for some quiet seclusion, each bedroom is located for privacy. Our home includes 2 suites on opposite sides of the house, each with it's own private, uncovered deck to enjoy your early morning coffee. In the living room, 2 sets of large sliding doors expand the living area further onto a large screened deck with ample seating for relaxing. This is the ideal spot for wine and conversation. The deck also includes a dining area to enjoy your steak fresh off the grill. The elevated deck offers soft breezes and a mountain view that feels as if you are floating in the trees. On cool evenings, lounge in front of one of the gas fireplaces located in the living room or on the deck. Our elegantly rustic home with its beautiful wood accents has a quiet, private ambiance yet you have easy access to the Sapphire Valley Masters Association amenities, local outdoor activities, and even some shopping if you so desire. Whether you are joining us for the solitude of a comfortable home away from home or looking to spend your days packed with outdoor pursuits, we know you will cherish the time you spend here and we will be proud to welcome you back time and time again.

Wonderful spot for a family getaway

Very Nice Property

Very nice property close to all the sites, HKE was wonderful and did not feel like a vacation property but more of a home. Enjoyed the Fireplace to read and relax in front of. Amenities where as described and better.

Beautiful mountain home! Home has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Loved the screened porch you feel like you are in a treehouse with great view of the mountain. Great location to visit all the neighboring mountain towns as well. Owner is very responsive and provides many nice touches to make your stay feel upscale!

We are in our 70s and 80s, brothers and spouses, who look for places to get together each year.

This house was perfect for the 6 of us. It's nicely furnished, has wonderful beds, and the deck was our favorite gathering place. The host provided a notebook full of information on the house and area. And the bears and deer were delightful!

A Beautiful and Cozy Home away from Home

We absolutely loved this property and can't give it enough stars! Everything was just perfect - and so well appointed! This place has it all!

As a connoisseur of rentals, this is one of the few places I would absolutely return to... great layout, fabulous porch, tasteful decor and extremely well stocked!We took all our Christmas gifts with us and enjoyed a 5-night stay with lots of hiking, playground fun, game nights, fabulous home-cooked meals, and wine. I can't say enough good things about our stay. Maybe next time, we'll go in a bit warmer clime to take advantage of the porch, even though the floor heater and fireplace made it very hospitable for morning coffee wrapped in a blanket.Dorothy, the owner, was fabulous to work with...very responsive and informative.

The property was beautiful, neat clean, and well decorated. There are plenty of towels, linens, and pillows. The beds are comfortable and sitting out on the large screened in deck with the fireplace going in the evening gives you a certain type of mountain peace that we came here to find. It is a quiet neighborhood and the roads are walkable although I do have a mobility scooter that is capable of off road so I was able to get around the neighborhood daily. There is a small lake, not far from the house where you can launch kayak or canoes, very scenic and peaceful. The host owners are very responsive and also very accommodating. We would definitely come back in the future.

50th Wedding Anniversary and Spouse's Birthday

My wife and I stayed at the property for two weeks - one with two life-long friends and one with just my wife and I. The property was great - spacious, clean, well-maintained and fully equiped. Easy access from the main roads in the area. Our Host was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. I recommend this property and we plan to stay here again in the future.

Wonderful stay that exceeded expectations!

My best stay with a vrbo to date! The host thought of everything! Every question was answered before I asked! The house was well stocked, beds were comfortable and the views and location were prime!
