Escape to Sapphire: Luxurious Home with Panoramic Mountain Views

  • Escape to the tranquility of Sapphire, North Carolina, with a stay in this stunning mountain cabin. Nestled amidst lush forests, this spacious retreat boasts panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. The cabin features 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a large open-plan living area with floor-to-ceiling windows. This home offers long-range mountain views and modern amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, wood-burning stove, ping-pong table, and large patios for your family to enjoy and take in those views.

    The main floor includes a primary bedroom with a king bed, ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. It is also equipped with a spacious desk (and Starlink internet) for those needing to work while away. You'll also find a second queen bedroom off the kitchen. On the very top level of this home, there are two king bedrooms, each with a twin daybed. Both bedrooms share a large full bathroom. Downstairs, you'll find a cozy living area with a TV, a double-sized pull -out sofa and a half bathroom. Off the living area is a 4-bed bunk room. This level of the home also includes a private screened in patio with ping pong, card table and additional seating area.

    Conveniently located near hiking trails and waterfalls, as well as local restaurants, breweries and shops, this cabin offers a perfect blend of luxury and nature. Take advantage of the public golf course at the Eagle Ridge Golf Club!

    Additional amenities through access to Sapphire Valley Resort at an additional cost to guests. In order to access Sapphire Valley Amenities, guests must purchase a Guest Amenities Pass. The cost is $5/day/person (ages 14 & up) and there is a 3-day minimum, or $20/week (*additional cost for some activities).

Fantastic Home with Amazing Views

This property was fantastic. Every room was perfect and the porches were amazing. Views from the property are fantastic. We enjoyed our time here and highly recommend this house.

Perfectly prepared

This was our third rental in the area this past summer and our favorite. It was well stocked, easy to find everything and exactly as described. We would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a large family or multiple couples since it is so spread out.

Great house!

House was great. Kids loved the “bunk room” and the adults (3 couples) enjoyed having king-size beds. Kitchen was great! You could tell that the owners/managers have thought through what vacationers will need! It was great.

This house is very nice and is very well equipped. The views from the family room and main deck are spectacular (at least in the winter). The furnishings are all high quality and the house layout was great for our family of 11 (6 adults and 5 children under the age of 8). It was the best supplied home we've ever rented with plenty of cooking ware, silver ware, plates, and glasses. There was also a very generous allotment of paper goods and soaps. The home even has some pack-n-plays (though we didn't need them). The one downside is that the bunkroom is in the basement and was very cold at night when we were there (outside night time temps were in the low 20's). They do supply a small electric heater for the bunk room but we weren't comfortable using it with the kids. That area would probably be fine in the less frigid months. Overall a very nice home with solid, upscale, furnishings. The host/manager was very responsive as well.

Sapphire stay

What a gem! Our family reunited for a celebration for a retirement and 70th birthday celebration.. We have stayed in Highlands and Cashiers before, but did not know much about this area.. The house was perfect for all guests- everyone had their own space. It was packed with toys and treasures for our grandkids to enjoy during the stay. Very unexpected. We hiked, enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinners together, and loved both the open and screened in porch. S’mores galore! Plan to come back.

Exceptional experience!

We have been visiting Sapphire for years and always rented nice cabins. This one was something else! There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t love about it! The location, layout and host responsiveness are all exceptional. But I was also very impressed with the little things which are all so well thought through! The kind of things other high end cabin rentals often lack. Here are a few that come to mind: tea cattle, sharp utensils, glass dishes (as opposed to that plastic we often see) in sufficient number, nice glasses, champagne glasses, a surprise bottle of champagne, good quality soaps and washing liquids, ample supply of dishwasher detergent and laundry pods, modern washer and drier, nice smelling candles, well setup sound system throughout the house, very soft and abundant blankets, great pillows, good quality bedsheets with linen comforter, hot water in the shower (the lukewarm water that some cabins set is one of my pet peeves), great working nice TVs which allow you to log into your apps but also have pre-logged in account from the owner. The list is literally endless. We absolutely loved the cabin and will most definitely be back!
