Fabulous Villa with spectacular views!

Had my husband’s 50th Birthday here with friends and can’t think of a better place to celebrate! Fabulous villa, great outdoor space and pool with the most amazing view! Superb staff who catered to our every need. Would highly recommend this villa to anyone.

Gorgeous property

Five of us stayed at Swinging Sunset for 6 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Honestly I can’t say enough good things about this place. The views were amazing, including spectacular sunsets. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel peaceful, yet is an easy walk into the center of Oia and down to Ammoudi Bay. The staff at Sunset Villas were all friendly and helpful. We booked several things through them. The entire property, inside and out, was kept immaculate. There is tons of room to spread out. We lived outdoors most of the time-even the one day we had some rain we could eat outdoors with the gorgeous views because it was covered. The one thing that wasn’t obvious from the pictures and description is the layout. It worked really well for us. The main bedrooms are downstairs with the larger kitchen and a bathroom with washing machine. The main level where you walk in, contains the largest sitting area and the stairs to the loft. We used both spaces and we could shut the door between the lower level and main level to give the loft occupants privacy. We appreciated being able to order breakfast, lunch, and dinner to our place when we didn’t feel like going out. All the food was delicious. Although we did go the mini markets, it was helpful to be able to order some groceries to be delivered. This place made our trip to Santorini more memorable and we would definitely recommend it looking for a beautiful place to stay.

Perfect spot to celebrate my 40th birthday!

Wow, what a perfect villa! The views are amazing! This villa is at the end of the line and has the most privacy and epic sunset views! It’s only a short time all through a path into the town of Oia and an even shorter walk down the street into the stunning village of Ammoudi Bay! The host are wonderful and welcoming!! We can’t wait to go back!!

Amazing guest service

Everyone (Kelly, Tassos, Mariana) went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The view was beautiful and the kids spent all day at the pool. It’s only a 10 minute walk to Oía. You won’t regret staying here.

Property was very clean and the staff was wonderful. The view is incredible and we had a great time. One thing to mention that was not good was the unit next to ours was a private residence with three barking dogs. If you prefer not to have dogs barking during dinner and in the evening/night I would ask for this to be eliminated.

Authentically Beautiful Villa

Overall our group of 6 truly enjoyed staying at this large picturesque villa. I believe it is the largest on the resort so it had it's own private pool and spa. We spent some time outside enjoying the views and sun. We went mid September so the pool water was freezing. It would be nice if it was heated. The spa temperature was great though. I think the grocery list could be improved as some of the items we ordered were not there and we had too much of certain things as we did not know sizes of items to be able to tell what we really needed. And you have to be specific so there's no confusion as some items we ordered were wrong - a bit of a language issue there I think. We didn't have coffee filters so we had to use napkins - I think that's a basic item if you are going to provide a coffee machine. Otherwise the villa itself was comfortable and charming. We loved the more traditional decor and how many different spaces we had. It was two levels as well so that was fun with a group. I only wish we had more time to enjoy it. You really need at least a few days. The town of Oia is only a 15 minute walk depending on how fast you are. There are a lot of rocks and it's hilly so wear the right footwear. Some of the group complained, but they are out of shape so :) it's their fault. It's definitely worth it though. You are a bit secluded, but still close enough to the hussle and bustle. The owner and staff were very responsive and replied back quickly to our questions before hand. They organized transportation for us and made that super easy to get to and from the Villa to our destinations. And with a group of 6 the stay and transport was a lot cheaper than staying anywhere else nice in Oia.

Absolutely amazing, take me back!

This is a dream of a vacation. The staff was more than accommodating for our party of 7. The staff here are truly one of a kind and made our trip so smooth leaving us feeling like royalty. My husband and I are already planning our trip back. Everything was so clean and impressive. We spend all day outside at the private pool and all evening at the comfortable outdoor seating. It was so perfect thanks to our accommodations at swinging sunsets villa. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of us, we loved our stay because of each of you!

Amazing property with stunning views of the sea

My family of four (with two teenagers) traveled to Oia Swinging Sunset villas in July 2018. We had a fantastic stay in Oia and loved the property. The best part is obviously the outside area of the house. The pool and view of the sea were absolutely stunning. We enjoyed being able to eat outside on the patio as well. The inside of the house was brightly decorated, air conditioned and comfortable for our family of four. The ability to easily walk in to Oia and down to Ammoudi Bay within 10 minutes of the property was perfect. It was amazing to see Oia, all the people, the amazing views, etc, but then be able to come back to the much quieter area where our house was. We really appreciated that. Reception was very helpful in having groceries delivered, recommending restaurants (highly recommend Pelekanos in Oia - great views and food), and scheduling a catamaran trip which was a lovely way to see the island. We would highly recommend this property and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Great views, nice pool

We just stayed in the villa for a week, and had a great week. But there are some things, I don't think lived up the our expectations. The 2 bedrooms was located in the basement, we were the impression that lower level was main level. But it worked out ok. However I don't know if it was because it was in the basement, but it smelled a but "old" and not with a lot of fresh air. They say it is family friendly. I would not say it is suitable for small children. The steps to the basement is stone and it was not possible to lock it of. Furthermore around the courtyard there were many low settings of stone and small children could easily climb on them and fell down 2 meters on the other side. However the house is perfect for older children. The pool and jacuzzi is nice and beautiful, but one big thing we really missed was umbrellas to make shade. You could only be in shade by the table which was very unfortunate. The cleaning was very fine and came twice daily. Dimitris and the other working at the reception was fantastic. They took care of everything for you.

Spectacular villa with hotel amenities, the pictures are true!

Just stayed at this villa with my wife and two teenagers. The Villa is just as amazing in real life as it is in the photos. 10-15 minute walk to Oia or Amoudi Bay, but plenty of privacy as well. Dimitris, the operations manager is incredibly friendly and helpful. Do you want your villa stocked with groceries before you arrive? No problem! Want fresh food and local specialties delivered to your door? No problem! Want dinner reservations at some of the best restaurants in the area at their best tables? No problem! Want to arrange for a private tour of the island, including wineries? No problem! Seriously, this villa is amazing and truly something special. It's the best of both worlds: a private villa but all of the five star service you might expect in a top hotel.

The villa was more beautiful than even the pictures. The service was amazing. The village of Oia was an easy 8 minute walk. We hosted our small wedding at the villa and will remember for the rest of our lives. Simply amazing!

Amazing view and everything else too

Can't say enough good things about our stay. First off, the sunset was so incredible. We watched it one night from the pool and one night from the hot tub. Watching it dissappear into the water was breath taking. Plus we saw all the people on boats who paid for the same view that we had. The villa was great. Plenty of space, great kitchens and bathrooms, hot water in plenty, comfy beds and daily maid service. Kostas got us anything we needed and was fun to chat with. Oia town was good for shopping and several restaurants to choose from.
