Bliss Mansion is unique; at least to our experience! Situated almost at the top of the delightful village of Pyrgos and only accessible on foot the villa has been exquisitely renovated, maintaining its traditional features and charm. The layout, which is unusual, worked well for us as an extended family, but, as a result of having a number of kitchenettes, rather than one large kitchen cooking for a large family (six of us) would have been problematic. Bliss Mansion does not have a dishwasher or washing machine. Fortunately the village is blessed with a number of excellent restaurants, including Francos Cafe near the castle which has incredible sunset views. On the subject of views; those from Bliss Mansion are equally spectacular and are 360 degree.The external facilities and spaces are amazing and are the highlight of the villa. The pools, cave hot tub and numerous terraces are all a true delight. A slight word of caution; no matter what the age of occupants, a reasonable degree of fitness is required. Some low ceilings in bedrooms and steps/staircases require reasonable versatility. if a degree of quirkiness, character and outstanding spaces and views are important, then Bliss Mansion is for you. Finally thanks to Panos whose communication and help both before and during our stay was outstanding.
