Booked for our son and his bride for their honeymoon! They were FLOORED by it, said it was even better than the pictures… that it’s a Michelin rated property, etc. They FaceTimed us and their suite was amazing! The food was great, staff wonderful. And on Expedia we got an amazing view package deal for them… incredible incredible value!!

The resort was truly amazing, be aware there are lots of steps which lead down to the property as it’s on a cliff face.(very steep up & down) We had a junior suite with an indoor jacuzzi, we could hear the bump inside the cupboard all night long. The resort is peaceful, with breathtaking views. Would certainly return again… ideally rent a car/bike to get around. Nearest village for shopping / bars / resturants is Akrotiri. Go to the nearby lighthouse for sunsets.

Astarte Suites is beautiful boutique hotel in Santorini, Greece. The managers and staff are very kind. The problem with this hotel is the over 50 large steep steps that any guest must win every day to get in and get out. To make things worse they do not explain this neither on the website or if you call in advance. I am 80-yr. old and clearly told them my age before making the reservation with lovely Expedia. They said that I would not have any problem (?!). When I arrived they helped with my bags but minutes as soon as I arrived I decided to leave, traumatized by such terrible experience, and concerned of the days ahead. I am now waiting for the refund of the monies paid.

Our room had its private hot tub on our balcony. We used this a lot since the pool water was chilly this time of year. The reception staff George and Kostas were very friendly and attentive. Daily Breakfast is included and was great! You are able to select from numerous breakfast options. This location is close to Akrotiri, so you are away from the chaos of the busy tourist areas.
Common area pool
Breakfast included and brought to your room daily. You get to choose what you want the day before. Really good!
Landing at the steps to the resort.

Perfect retreat - relaxing stay

Fabulous service, super clean and well maintained, very comfortable. Beautiful views and they make you feel special. Remote from most of the island which was what we wanted but be aware - need taxi/hire buggy to get around if you wish to.
