What a lovely gem this was! Yes… it really is a cave that you would walk right past if you didn’t know! It was even better than the beautiful pictures! From the outdoor indoor pool with views from the master to the fact it was originally a wine cellar made our stay downright magical! Great location too.

An unbelievable stay and accomodation.The host was a pleasure to work with. Everything was actually better than described and imagined.One small caveat.Parking is a minimum 200 steps away.The access path from the street parking is on an uphill trail on cobblestones.There was no assistance to haul luggage from the car to the house.

Cave apartment is clean and well-appointed. No windows. Location is central to island. Long cobblestone walk to apartment from the road. High humidity due to pool—must keep the dehumidifiers going constantly. Pool was beautiful, but cool. Would not stay here without daily towel service; washer but no dryer, tough to dry items

This property is beautiful and Stavroula is a wonderful host! The third bedroom does not have an AC unit but thankfully it wasn't too hot during our stay. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place in Santorini!

Great property and host , had some technical issues with the wifi and water heater. Please note the pool is listed as heated but the water is still chilly, it was nice on hot day but takes a bit to acclimate when first getting in. Overall great lil place in a quite residential area , great place to share with friends or family.

Very nice property away from the hustle and bustle of Santorini’s main towns. The property is quiet and well equipped and the property manager was very helpful and responsive, recommending activities and places to visit. I do recommend having a car to explore the island.

Nice cave villa away from tourist area

The cave villa was exactly as pictured. 3 bedrooms and bathrooms and a kitchen/eating area. The highlight was the cave pool which was excellent to come back to. The cave villa is located outside of the main tourist areas, so very quiet. It is about a 30 minute walk to the main town (Kamari and Kamari beach). There is a local restaurant nearby, but not much else. There is the local bus which has a convenient stop nearby, but we never could get the timing quite right. For that reason, a car or ATV would be highly recommended. Communication with the property manager was fantastic and they were really helpful. Overall, would highly recommend for a quieter option.

Beautiful quiet place and a perfect area to stay. It's perfect place approx 30 min or less. away from all the touristy areas. And less than 15min from the airport. You will need a car to get places. But plenty of public parking in the more touristy areas, especially if you go early. We went to visit touristy areas before 10am. Gets pretty warm during the day, so during midday, play in the pool and stay inside, then evening time, go back out. Just know that online maps have a harder time with detecting the smaller roads and will be confused where your at. Make sure you empty the dehumidifier frequently to keep, especially if you're in the room that opens to the pool. I short circuit a plug converter. Think due to the 80% humidity in that room, per the dehumidifier. The bathrooms were more spacious than most European wc and so clean. Only wished there was a Sign or something with the name of the place.

Stunning Property! Beautiful Pool! Exceptional Hostess!

The property is well maintained and gorgeous. Everything you need is provided for you. Prior to arrival, our hostess was great at communicating, provided a car for us to get to the property and gave amazing details on how to get to the property and how to retrieve the keys. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very, very much. Even when we were unsure of how to get the washing machine to run, our hostess was quick to reply and helped us through it. She even helped arrange for an ATV to be brought to us for us to rent. We absolutely will return. Not any complaints. Perfect stay! s

Authentic experience

The property was beautiful. The neighborhood is an experience in and of itself. Lovely to walk around and take in the sights and beautiful views. Really felt the local vibe! People are so friendly and welcoming. There is a beautiful winery, fun brewery, and local eating establishment all in walking distance. The property is very clean and cozy. The pool is beautiful and so well maintained. The outside area is very comfortable. Stavroula was extremely communicative and very accommodating with our checkin experience. Can’t say enough about this great property!!

The host is nice and gave us a lot of useful information. Property is large and clean. The private pool is perfect. We can swim and soak into the water anytime we want. The kitchen has everything we need to cook some simple dishes. 2 nights stayed in this cave really gave us a wonderful memory.

Lovely cave oasis in a quiet part of Santorini

The Aleria luxury cave experience was great for the whole family. The property is up a little cobblestone walkway by an old domed church. The street that it is on winds its way up the mountain to some spectacular views within a short distance. The cave itself was roomy, cool, thanks to the air conditioners and met all our needs as a base of operations in Santorini. The indoor/outdoor pool was a nice touch for the very hot days we were there. Stavroula helped arrange for transportation to the cave and with a rental car when we needed. She was available to us over Whatsapp whenever we needed anything. We did need a rental car because the property is a bit farther away from any stores and all the touristy locations. While there is a bus stop close by, it was too hot to stand there waiting for a bus. There are several wineries within walking distance and the Donkey beer company as well.

Amazing Cave villa

My wife and I started our honeymoon at the Aleria Cave villa and it was amazing! Stavroula was very helpful and communicative. She helped us book some excursions such as horseback riding and a sunset cruise! She was able to set up a private chef to cook my wife and I some amazing Greek food. It was a very clean place with our own pool! I would definitely return to stay here!

Beautiful home

Absolutely beautiful home in Santorini! A little removed from the hustle and bustle but that is what we were looking for! You do need to rent a car to get to the more populated areas. The home is stunning and the plunge poil is a fantastic way to end your day! Stavroula was an amazing host and we would recommend this home to everyone!
