Kevin was fantastic as a host. The house was clean and has a friendly environment. It is car dependent but little to no traffic to the places we went. Appreciate Kevin allowing us to check in early. The pool and backyard were amazing.

The house is great for what it is- a fun home for friends and families to gather and enjoy sunshine in a beautiful backyard. We had 7 adults and 6 kids. The pool is great, as are all the other perks of the backyard. The house is comfortable, and the kids’ room is very cute, fun, and sleeps them comfortably. The kitchen has enough of the basics to prepare some meals, and it is close to stores to buy what you need. Overall, we had a great stay.

This was a fantastic place to stay while visiting the San Diego area with with friends & family. The home is spacious, well-maintained, and located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. It had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful anytime we had questions. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay near San Diego!

Perfect & Fun Stay

We had a great time, 15 of us ages 2-65 years old and everyone had something to be doing. Pool, slide, mini gold, pin ball game, bunk beds with slides, pool table, ping pong table. Yup, this house is equipped with everything you need. House is HUGE and everyone was comfortable. Definitely will keep this gem in my favorites. Oh, another big plus, it's near everything you might need..

Fun House!

We stayed here with a bunch of kids for a summer cheer camp, and we LOVED it! The property management was so easy, the house had plenty of room and was close to almost anything we needed, and the amenities in the backyard were endlessly fun! Hope we get to do it again next year.

Family Reunion

We stayed at this property for a family reunion in Oct. The weather was very nice. We paid extra to have the pool heated. We didn't have any issues. We had 9 adults and 2 teens. We needed 6 bedrooms with a total of 7 beds which this house had. There was room for everyone. We had a great time and the house was perfect. There is a no noise outside time of 9:00 pm. This was kinda hard because everyone was outside enjoying the wonderful pool at 9:00 pm. We came in the house and played games. It was a great weekend.

Great home for our friends and family to stay in

Home had all the amenities we needed! Really close to places to eat and shop for anything we needed. Location was far enough to stay away from SD, but close enough to drive to when needed!..Had 3 families with kids ranging from 1 to 12, and they all had a blast at the home! Communication with Kevin was great!

Great home for multiple families

Rented this home for my mom’s 80th. Kids ranged in age from 5 to 12. This home was perfect! The pool was so much fun (where we spent most of our time), we BBQ’d, made s’mores and took a day trip to Belmont Park (only 25 miles aways). Rooms sizes and accommodations worked well for our group. Would deilfinitely recommend.

Disappointing stay

We had a very disappointing experience at this rental for our long awaited family vacation. The major issues were the location and problem with the air conditioner. Located on a main road with an apartment building next door which overlooked the back yard. We felt like we had no privacy. Upon arrival we found air conditioning unit off and temperature 88 degrees. Not very inviting. It never cooled down which made it extremely uncomfortable to get any sleep. Upon contacting owner about this he sent HVAC guys day before departure who had to “deice” unit and changed out old filter that was thick with dust and dirt. Thus seemed to help the problem slightly initially but never did work properly to cool house during the day. The owner promised to bring extra fans and window ac unit which we never got. One bedroom didn’t even have an air vent. Due to heat in house we spent time in backyard which was noisy due to planes from nearby airport. The “garage turned game room “was so hot we couldn’t enjoy it. It was also hard to feel like you are in a relaxing place when the bedrooms had no dressers so we lived out of our suitcases on the floor. If we were able to get property address and check out location and surrounding area we would definitely not have booked this property.

Great Family Getaway

We were staying in Santee due to a family graduation celebration traveling from Wisconsin. The outdoor amenities were beyond amazing. My sister travels with two children with special needs and the property was just what we needed to keep everyone entertained without having to travel much in the area. Kevin and his wife were extremely kind and were great in communicating.

The property met our expectation and more

The bedrooms were a little small, but since we just slept in them, it was fine. The outdoor pool, corn hole, pool table, and ping pong table were great for the families anytime during the stay. The location was close to San Diego. The property manager was very responsive when little things needed attention.

Nice place, needs some work

The house is perfect for our size group. The house does need some work, needs better drainage for all the tubs, had to flush the toilet to get the tubs to drain. The guest bathroom with the laundry had a large soft spot in the floor and family were afraid they would fall through the floor. I was unable to enjoy myself at night with the amenities outside with the threat of eviction hanging over our heads for one infraction. I was afraid even talking outside would be a problem because the neighbors had their windows open. The outdoor area was amazing, the sound of the waterfall in the pool was so relaxing, the kids enjoyed the slide and the adults enjoyed the BBQ which we used almost every night! Overall, I would recommend staying here if you can be quite at night or don't want to use the outside amenities at night.

Girls weekend - PERFECT STAY 10/10 recommend!

Kevin the owner had great communication throughout this whole process. His welcome website had all the detailed info you need. We had a great comfortable stay at this beautiful house. All photos and info listed about the house was very accurate. They do a really great clean prior to new guests. All the amenities of the house were great. The pool, slide, and hot tub were perfect. The beds were super comfy and had extra mats and linens available. We loved the extra blankets that we used for hanging out in the living room. The house did not having an ironing board, or iron, but after contacting the owner- he dropped off a new set - thank you! Just a few notes though: The kitchen frying pans could be updated. Possibly a larger pot too in the case of cooking large amounts of food the larger families. The house only had salt and pepper, so we bought a few more seasonings and cooking oil, hopefully they leave it for new guests. I was told there were extra paper towels and toilet paper but only had refills of toilet paper so we had purchase more. There could be more mirrors in the rooms. There was the bathrooms ones and 2 others. Many had to get ready in the living room where there was one other mirror. Possibly full length ones would be better. The bathroom with the laundry machines was spacious but the shower knob was very difficult to turn. Guests may have a hard time turning the shower on and off. Also the shower doors were very hard to open and close.

Amazing Family Getaway!

We recently stayed here for a 5 day trip to San Diego (close drive to the Zoo, Legoland & SeaWorld). Everything listed on the rental listed was exactly as described. The kids and adults both had an AMAZING time. It is close to the freeway, and easy to access several grocery stores, and fast food/restaurant when needed/wanted. The pool and slide was more amazing than we imagined, and the house had everything we needed. We definitely plan on returning for several trips and look forward to staying here again.

Ideal outdoor fun spot

We had a great family getaway at this house, that kept us occupied with an amazing pool and sport activity lawns. Ducked away to the nearby Santee Drive-in theater for a fun nighttime movie as well. Entire accomodations process was smooth. Perfect spot for my family (three generations, ages 10-80)

The perfect stay!

We had such an amazing time at this house. The backyard and pool are even better than the photos, we spent many hours out there. The layout of the house was perfect for our 3 families of kids, teens, and adults. Nice size gathering area with the kitchen and living room. The location was great, we were a short drive to all the things we wanted to do. Communication with Kevin was easy and we had no problems. We really loved our stay and everyone is already talking about coming back. Thank you!
