Our family loved The Smith House! The provided bikes and beach gear made it so easy to have outings everyday and we loved spending time at the charming, unique house playing games and cooking meals. The house was very clean!! It's a vibrant, active part of Grayton-- super close to everything you could need or want. Hope to be back for another visit soon!

Staying at the Smith House was a wonderful experience from start to finish! Kelly is a terrific host with great communication skills. She provided useful and comprehensive info on the local area and on restaurant suggestion. Beautiful fresh cut camellias and huge green fronds welcomed us throughout the house. Kelly quickly answered questions that came up for us. And The Smith House is so charming, full of historical references and beautiful art, cozy areas in the home to enjoy. And the location is perfect! Walking/biking distance to everything- the beach, 30A and Grayson shops and restaurants nearby, and the famous Red Bar. You will feel instantly at home at The Smith House!

We enjoyed our stay in the Smith Cottage. Proximity to the beach was ideal. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops were all in walking distance.Grayton Beach is the ideal beach town. Kelly keeps the property immaculate. We appreciated the bikes, chairs, etc. for the beach and the cottage was stocked with books and games for a rainy day. We look forward to returning to Grayton Beach.

Kelly was the best to work with! The house was absolutely amazing. Walking distance to the beach and our favorite place, The Red Bar. They had everything we needed at the house, so we didn’t need to waste half a day of our trip picking up supplies etc. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience! The home has been well updated without losing its historic charm. Owner was very prompt on contacting us almost immediately after booking and all the way through our stay. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Smith House in Grayton Beach. It was his birthday week and it couldn’t have been a more perfect location, with lots of great restaurants and the beach within walking distance (or a quick bike ride!). The historic house was beautiful, so clean, and had all amenities available to make our stay nice and relaxing. The hosts were amazing - so warm and welcoming with many suggests to make our time in Grayton even more enjoyable. Upon our arrival, there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which made us feel right at home. We would love to stay at The Smith House again!!

We loved our stay at this charming rustic historic home in the center of our favorite beach town. From the doorstep it is an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. The home has had updates to ensure the comfort of the visitors but still retains the essence of the original beach house.Kelly, the host, is fantastic. With her first contact she supplied information about the house and suggestion for local restaurants, attractions and things to do. She was always quick to respond to any questions we had. During our stay we had a issue with a smart tv that seemed to have a problem connecting with the WiFi. We contacted Kelly and she came over and attempted to rectify the issue using a phone call to her internet provider but unfortunately that did not work. Kelly then went and purchased a new tv and installed it so that we would would not be without a tv. We would be very pleased to have the opportunity to stay here again.

A Sweet Spot by the Sea

Smith House was an absolute dream! Kelly and Billy were the most amazing hosts and have the house stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The screened-in patio was our favorite spot for breakfast in the mornings and peaceful evenings after a day at the beach! Such a sweet and charming home - we can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Vacation House

The Smith House was perfect for our Grayton stay. The home house so much character, while also having all the amenities of home. We loved the exposed wood beams, cozy wraparound porch, and outdoor shower. Everything was clean, and the communication with the owner was superb. The location was great—an easy walk to Grayton restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be staying again!

Lovely House in a great location

We loved the house – it has so much more charm than the cookie-cutter new builds and we were impressed that there have been only 3 owners in it's 100 year history! Kelly has done a great job of maintaining all of it's original character but with all modern amenities. It was well stocked with things such as spices, coffee filters, etc. And Kelly left us a bottle of wine and fresh cut flowers! The house works well for a couple or a family of four but I would not recommend it for 2 couples as the 2nd bedroom is pretty small and has twin beds.The outside area is awesome but unfortunately we didn't really get to use it as we were there in cold weather – in fact it snowed our last day there - the infamous snow of January 2025. We were able to use the bikes quite a few times our first few days before it got too cold. The bikes were great for getting to some of the other communities but there is quite a few good restaurants and bars within walking distance too. Would definitely stay here again!
