Getting Around:
This stretch of 30A is especially bike-friendly, and many guests love using the Timpoochee Trail (30A’s bike path) to explore Seaside, WaterColor, and nearby beach communities. A vehicle is still recommended for grocery runs and day trips, but you can comfortably plan plenty of “leave the car parked” days here.
Traveling to/around the area - Explore by foot, by bike, or by car:
• Biking is one of the best ways to experience 30A—use the Timpoochee Trail for scenic rides to Seaside, WaterColor, Grayton Beach, and beyond.
• Walking works well for short trips and beach access days, but plan to drive for larger grocery runs and farther excursions.
• A car is recommended for exploring beyond the immediate 30A corridor, as rideshares and taxis can be limited and wait times can vary.
• Bike rentals are widely available along 30A if you want extra bikes for your group—helmets are recommended, and the paths can get busy during peak season.
Airports:
• Northwest Florida Beaches International (ECP) [FL]
• Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) [FL]
• Pensacola International Airport (PNS) [FL]
