The location of this property is excellent—close to town, shops, and restaurants, with nearby beach access. While the closest entry is to a private beach (as mentioned in the listing), the complex offers a trolley to public beach areas, which was convenient. The beds were comfortable and the host was responsive, which we appreciated. The unit was generally clean at a glance, but there was noticeable dust on ceilings, vents, and light fixtures, and the vent ducts looked moldy. The kitchen was a major drawback for us. Utensils and cookware were in poor condition—many were dirty or unusable, and we had to purchase a chef’s knife. There was no cabinet or pantry space for groceries, so food ended up on the dining table.Other issues included a clogged and leaking bathroom sink, a non-functioning guest bedroom TV, slow internet, and limited seating in the living room. One of the couches was noticeably stained. We also found a dead insect and a live insect in a pot under the cabinet with the kitchen equipment. The community pools were much smaller than expected and very crowded, so we opted not to use them at all. With updates to cleanliness, maintenance, and kitchen essentials, this property could be much more enjoyable. The location and host responsiveness are strong positives, but the overall experience didn’t quite meet our expectations.
