Perfect spot during events.We have booked this place a couple of times now and continue to be happy with our investment. The only qualms were that the washer/dryer is a little small for 6 people and being that close to city center comes with some additional noise. Would highly recommend!

Only thing we did not understand was that the Second bedroom is hidden upstairs and only accessed via an outdoor courtyard. People staying there do not have any closet or bathroom and need to walk back over to access bathroom inside the main part of th unit.

Perfect Spring Break

We absolutely loved Above the Crowd! It is in the perfect location to everything! Thankful for parking spots and being so close to the beach! The condo was beautifully decorated and felt so homey! We played their games and watched basketball in the family room. Loved having the outside deck to drink our coffee in the mornings and watch Seaside waking up! So many personal touches and we hopefully will be back! Thank you Above the Crowd!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would highly recommend this rental. It is in a great location, just steps from everything: food, beach, shops - you name it! I brought a family of 4 with two teenage daughters. The only downfall we experienced is that the two bunk beds are literally located in a hallway, so there is no privacy or space for those staying in the bunk beds to store their belongings. This was a little misleading in the ad, but overall we had a great stay.

This is our 3 stay in “above the crowd” ... my daughter and I have our summer trip too Seaside and always try to get this condo for our stay it is the perfect size , the views are amazing, shopping dining and Beach literally steps .. it is always very clean with lots of towels , blankets pillows etc In the living area you can crack the door and hear the music in the amphitheater ... to us this is the place to stay !

Beautiful views from your balcony, shops, restaurants at your feet, and privacy in your shared courtyard! Mother Nature caused a small hick-up and management was so on top of it, offering solutions and options while being so professional and kind! ( Thanks Amanda) We had a lovely time and will be back!

It is not loud at all, which we were worried about! The furnishings were well appointed and all very comfy! Can’t wait to book again! Minor issues was the stove was broken and the outdoor spa was kinda yuck- but it is outside so- no negative on our stay!

Introducing my cousin to Seaside disappointing

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property presented as a two bedroom was misleading. I slept on a bunk, with my clothes outside in the bedroom. 43 gusty degrees was not an option for use of the bedroom in a separate building from the bathroom - not a luxury experience. Thermostat settings to drop 5 degrees in the night with no directions also made half the trip frigid. It's a lovely place in a great location.

Above seaside

Property was great. Everything was easy. I reports a window screen falling from third floor onto my car and leaving damage. I also reported other screens were about to fall. When I left, no repairs had been done to other screens and I guess nothing to be done regarding damage to my car. This was in the provided parking spot.

What a beautiful condo ...the decor was perfect, so inviting and comfortable, great views from the balcony of the amphitheater and the blue ocean and white sands .... I have stayed home several places in seaside that were all really good ... but I can’t wait to stay here again.... The staff at Homeowners collection were very helpful and easy to contact for any questions...

I had heard bad things about the parking but we didn’t have any trouble at all. Only thing was elevator. It’s very very old and only worked part of the time we were there. Being on third floor made that a little inconvenient especially while we were loading up to leave and having to drag everything down three flights of stairs. Other than that, it was great! Would definitely go back!

Moved and Forgotten

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First we were moved out of our original/preferred rental because of some mixup by the leasing company, not of our own doing, and when Delta canceled our cross-country flight for two days we weren't able to get ahold of an agent to help re-list the unit, or make any other arrangements, so we paid full price for two unused nights. Seaside obviously isn't hurting for money, so it all just felt unnecessarily punitive. When you pay as much in resort fees and other add-ons as you do for the unit itself you expect amazing service and facilities, but the agents were hard to reach and often disinterested/unhelpful. The bike attendants were rude and the bikes themselves were in poor condition and not very good bikes to begin with. There were lots of security agents walking around, but apparently not any on duty at 2.00am our first night when we were awoken to a group of teenagers running and yelling through the square. This group managed to through a popsicle that hit our bedroom window and melted on the deck below. Just a sad experience all around that was meant to be a fun birthday celebration.Beach and restaurants were great, but the rest of the experience was disappointing given the costs and certainly not the experience we've come to expect as visitors for over 20 years. We will be looking elsewhere for our next beach vacation.
