Perfect place for young families, the pool is nice and beach access is very easy. The beach is clean and just what you picture with crystal clear waters and white squeaky sand. The area has plenty of walkable shops and restaurants and it's just a short drive away from more touristy destinations. This condo was clean and cozy and perfect for our family of 5 the grandparents.

Location & property are excellent. We’ve stayed in this complex multiple times. This unit could use a “touch up” but overall was great. The host, RealJoy, wasn’t as communicative as we’ve come to expect and when contact was made they lacked knowledge about the unit and the area. The RealJoy guest portal wasn’t working and information not easy to access.

I’d like to give more, but one star is all I got.

I’ve reached out to find out a contact email for the owner of this property as well as rental management email, please respond so I can send photos and details of our stay at this unit. The list of disappointments is too long to type on this review. If you stay here, bring your own cleaning supplies to use before you touch anything, and also be aware that there is AMPLE construction going on right outside and around the unit. (Before the response says you’re not in control of that, I know…. But it should be CLEARLY communicated to the paying guest just how much their condo will be disrupted during their vacation.)

Great location and unit

We enjoyed our time at this property and have stayed at Gulfplace several times. Overall, we were very satisfied. The door code was a little tricky but we figured it out after about a day. The unit was nice and had all of the essentials. Would recommend

Excellent location, clean condo

This unit was clean, well maintained, and perfect for our family of four adults. Very walkable to the beach with a pool and heated spa. The kitchen is well equipped with a stove, huge ref, oven and dishwasher. There’s a blender to make smoothies. And, eating out is no problem as there are restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Great Location!

Gulf place is a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The location was perfect. The condo was just like the pictures and clean. This property did not have small detail items I am used to such as laundry pods, coffee filters, coffee pods, etc. You would have to bring your own, which is inconvenient for a short stay. Also, the TV in the guest room did not work the entire stay. Please be aware, that the condo is on the second floor. Overall, again, the location makes up for these things if you are able to bring these items along and can get the TV working.

Spacious and well-equipped

We came to Gulf Place for the music festival. The condo is roomy and has everything needed for a weekend getaway. The hall bunks are almost like a third bedroom.

Nice condo!

Gulf Place Caribbean 204 was nice and spacious. I came for an extended Thanksgiving and ended up alone, which gave me way more room than I needed. But I enjoyed checking it out as we are also staying there for the Songwriters Festival. A big highlight was the porch for watching the lunar eclipse.

The unit is very nice, and we enjoyed it. The late check-in time was difficult. A friend who works for property management companies in Santa Rosa Beach said that 4:00 is later than most places she’s familiar with. I’m a senior citizen and was really tired and hot after driving so long to get there. The children also came from far away places, and the young grandchildren were tired. We definitely enjoyed it after we got settled in. We also wondered about the clean up part and don’t recall being asked to strip the beds when we’re paying for a cleaning service. I like for my home or rental place to be neat and clean, and even asked my messy kid to clean up again after he thought he was done. The other kid is neater.
