Such a beautiful view of the ocean. Enjoyed the balconies overlooking the water. Perfect for our Thanksgiving break. We will definitely stay here again. Short walk to the beach and the pools.

Our stay

-It’s a great spot, I just really wish they had told us about construction on the listing before getting this place. I didn’t mind much, but we stepped out to our balcony one morning and we had stepped on paint that never dried, unfortunately a bird died on one of our balcony due to it getting caught and stuck. Was very unfortunate .. The construction wasn’t as loud, it was just the music and the randomness moments where a man would be on it painting it in the mornings. -Communication with our host was quick and responsive!-Nice cute small space, beach is also like a minute walk so that was great!

The unit was great. Except the streaming system in br didn’t work. Great view though! If you like to sleep in, probably not the unit for you. Bright at sunrise through the sheer curtains and the blinds. Nice unit. Unfortunately Gulf Place itself is awful looking. Alvin’s took over and has given it a very cheap rundown look and feel. The artists aren’t there anymore. The boutiques are gone and the grass was grown up and sidewalks hadn’t been pressure washed. Blue Beach was quick to respond to our needs.

Location is absolutely terrific. Easy access to the beach, shops, and local food. Balconies have great views. Local area along 30a has a lot to offer beachgoers, walkers, runners, hikers and shoppers.Property was very clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of windows to let in sunlight to take in the great scenery. Host has plenty of essentials available for guests.Host was responsive to information requests. Two opportunities for this stay. As mentioned in previous reviews for this property, the faucet in the bath tub leaked consistently, leaving water in a low point in the tub that has started rust. This is an item that really should be addressed if not for any reason than water conservation. Second, internet was out to multiple units including this property and had been for over a week and a half according to the internet service provider. I recognize this is beyond the control of the property owner, but a courtesy notification is warranted to guests that have committed to the property. Hopeful this is helpful and repairs are made for future guests.Overall, we will visit the area again and would consider this property as well.

Quick getaway

This is the 2nd time renting this property on 30a and like last year, the property was clean, warm, & inviting. The location cannot be beaten as the beach & other attractions are within walking distance. My overall rating of 3 stars is because of the shower leakage (same issue last year) and bathroom socket not working. In addition, we did not have internet service for 2 days, and I understand that disconnecting can be refreshing; however, not so much when work demands interfere. Other than that, we had a delightful stay.

Perfect for two!

We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay here. Great views, very comfortable bed, took no time to get to the beach! We also appreciated the proximity to lots of great restaurants. We would definitely recommend this and would stay again!

Needs some "attention"

I want to start by saying I don't take pleasure in bringing things to the owner's attention. I'm not one to get "pleasure" out of criticizing anyone or anything. That being said I'm gonna give my opinion of this rental. My wife and myself have been renting from all over Gulf Place for 10+ years. There have been times we rent the same place but more times than not we rent a different place. IMO, this place needs some "attention". I'll give the "PROS" first then the "CONS" and let you decide for yourself. PROS: Location is great, bed is super comfortable, it's decorated great, Both T.V.'s worked great "WHEN" the internet worked. CONS: Internet was on and off the entire time. Sometimes it worked, other times it didn't. (I know that happens from time to time, but still it's a "CON". For us personally, we prefer a regular drip coffee maker, not a KUERIG. (That's a preference though). There were a couple of blinds that couldn't be opened from daytime, then closed at night because there was no spin bar to work them. THE SHOWER is in DIRE NEED to be replaced. Nasty, stained just not good. We made it work but it needs some serious attention. The security "hasp" [Secondary lock for door) was completely broken. (Not that we felt unsafe but there still needs to be one) Underneath the sink cabinets was NASTY. The same was where the glasses and plates were. There are dings and dents throughout the entire condo. Needs an OVERHAUL, IMO. I wouldn't rent it again.

Cozy place but needs work

The overall condo was nice and comfortable, especially the bed! The one negative would be the bathroom and amenities provided. The shower/ tub had a constant drip that needs to be fixed. Also the provided towels were of poor quality and stained. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
