The condo was clean except for the stove and Benchmark management was very attentive to our needs. The fixtures are a bit outdated in the condo but adequate. The view from the deck is a perfect ocean view! We did not use the pool, but it appeared clean. We did appreciate the bathrooms available in the pool area. Be aware there are a lot of steep steps to get to the beach area. Thankfully, we weren’t traveling with anyone who was not able to navigate the steps.

Great location

We've stayed in this location many times, but not this condo. Aside from some initial maintenance issues we had a lovely stay. The maintenance issues were quickly addressed and didn't cause any issues for us.

Great location, decent condo

I love this location in Seagrove/Santa Rosa but the condo needs updating slightly. The bedroom with the twin beds has an old smell and the chest of drawers in the main bedrooms smelled old as well and I had to really had to spray lysol. The unit, however, was very clean, love the overall amenities but new furniture may be needed soon. Last thing, the view is good but it is right over the pool so no real privacy. Love the free chairs, beautiful beach and great overall location. Would stay in this building again.

Great location but room needs some TLC

The location of this property is excellent. It is within minutes of Seaside and is right on the beach. Views from the balcony were wonderful. The pool was never crowded and the beach service that was included with the room was wonderful. The room itself is very dated and needs a good deep clean. We had to wash sheets on the 2 twin beds the first night because they obviously hadn’t been washed from the previous renters. This forced 2 of our children to sleep on the pullout couch and one to sleep in the master with my wife and I. The toilet in the master bath was loose and rocked all over the place, but didn’t leak. Just noisy and took you for a little ride when you sat down. Appliances worked well. The main issues were cleanliness (so we gave it a good cleaning when we arrived) and we found several bugs crawling around periodically throughout the week. We made sure to shake out and clean every article of clothing we had before returning home so as to not bring any unwanted guests with us. The furniture on the balcony is low quality, but served its purpose. We had friends also staying in this complex with us and their room was much nicer. Higher quality, cleaner, and overall a better deal for the amount of money spent. They did have bug issues, however.

Overall we had a good experience. We've rented in Beach Crest numerous times. But this unit was dated and needs repairs. Office was made aware. Outside furniture needs replacing. Needs refreshing inside also!

Great location!

Great beach location, just down the road from busy Seacrest and the higher end boutiques of Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. Unit was clean and comfortable for the four of us, with all the amenities needed to eat in when desired.

Relaxing vacation

The property is clean and the views are spectacular off the deck. Our condo had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the decor was beachy and welcoming. Great location near a bike shop that also rents paddle boards etc. We only had one major issue, the washing machine would stop working halfway through the wash cycle. It was running, you could hear it but not moving. Maintenance did check it out but as I explained to them unless you were running a full cycle and stayed to observe it they wouldn't "catch" the problem. We had to be mindful of how much laundry we had due to this issue. I will say that they did respond right away to our complaint it just wasn't going to get resolved right away. There's a sign on the washing machine that says "don't leave it running until attended" so I think this might be an ongoing problem. This unit is above the pool so you will hear the pool gate slamming shut constantly! Simple fix by maintenance would make it less annoying. Since this is a small complex no issues catching an elevator or parking. We would stay here again while vacationing in Seagrove.

Last minute change of property

There were multiple units with an identical floor plan available to rent the week of our stay. We had carefully selected unit 301 for the beachy theme of the furniture and overall simple, uncluttered feel. Just looking at the pictures was making me feel relaxed! The day before arrival, we were informed that the unit was undergoing renovation and was no longer available. They “moved “ us to another unit. The floor plan, size and gulf views were the same, but with more traditional look that didn’t please our sense of aesthetics as much. It didn’t prevent us to have a great family vacation at the beach, but I think accuracy of the listing is important and last minute changes uncomfortable. It looses only 1 star overall because it could have been much worse (e.g. imagine being moved to a unit overlooking a parking lot instead of the beach!)

Clean, convenient location.

The condo was clean, the view was nice and the location was great! We walked across the street to rent bikes and rode to Seaside and Grayton beach. Beaches were beautiful, we even saw dolphins from our balcony. Great experience!
