We loved our stay at Sand Reef Cottage. The location was perfect for walking/biking to the beach and local restaurants. It was a great value for the size and clean conditions of the house. While we didn't really cook while we were there, the kithcen was very well stocked with eveyrthing - applianced, utensils, spices, etc. Would definitely stay again.

Alex & Britt are amazing hosts! Effortlessly communication with timely responses. Their cottage was a perfect home base for my family of 8. It easily accommodated my 6 children with rooms to gather like the large kitchen table, open living room, and outdoor spaces. It just as importantly provides areas for respite and relaxation. My teens loved hanging out on the hammock and upstairs balcony. It’s in a great location within a short bike ride or walk to the South Walton tram for pickup and drop off to Grayton Beach and a short drive to either Grayton Beach State Park or Seaside. So many great running options nearby, but also good proximity to Publix and Walmart grocery stores. The whole fam had an amazing stay and 5 days was not enough. 30A did not disappoint. Thanks for great Hoosier hospitality Alex & Britt!

Grayton Getaway

This little house up from the beach was a perfect quick getaway for our beach happy family. House had everything we needed. Bikes were perfect for rolling down to the beach. The beach was so cool because it has a huge space of white sand where locals drove on and set up to make it this entertaining place to watch it all. Water was beautiful blue and chill. Biking to Seaside was easy 15-20 min. (better than trying to park). Loved that we had our own place tucked away from the madness. Lots of little shops and restaurants easily accessible too. Great getaway!

All About the Details

This is our second visit at this property. We were just impressed this year as last. The owners so generously provide so many of the things you need! Beach chairs, 7 adult bikes ( kids bikes and trailer too) games, beach toys and towels, enough shampoo and conditioner for the whole week, dishwasher soap and dish soap, every style of coffee pot you could ever need, and a well stocked kitchen!! Location is great and quiet, close to state park- kids bikes there. Owner was super responsive and helpful during stay! Great experience!

Grayton Getaway

This property is lovely. We loved walking to Black Bear for breakfast and riding bikes into town. We took advantage of the quiet pool and wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay in 30A

We spent a few days mid October and this lovely home. It was conveniently located just down the block from the Grayton Beach shuttle, which was great when wanting to go to the beach. The house was comfortable and as pictured. There was some construction to a neighboring property while we were there that started early and was loud, but nothing that the property owners could predict or avoid. We definitely enjoyed our stay and early October was a beautiful time to be there!!

Above and Beyond!

We had a wonderful stay at Sand Reef Cottage. The home was beautiful and very clean. The owners were awesome at communicating in a timely manner and went above and beyond to help us with any issues that came up. We requested a special item and they were happy to assist! We were also pleasantly surprised at how well stocked this condo was! There was an ample start up supply of paper goods, dish soap and trash bags! The bathrooms were equipped with enough shampoo, conditioner and body wash

What a wonderful stay at Sand Reef! Perfect home for a wedding weekend getaway with my family. Chic decor and absolutely loved the fireplace (so easy to use!) Grayt Thanksgiving !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was extremely roomy and well equipped. Kitchen very functional. Fireplace was awesome as we had some chilly nights. We enjoyed all of the amenities especially having bikes. We used them everyday. Property owners were responsive and everything was clean and exceeded our needs. Location across 30A was no issue. Shuttle to beach was easy and frequent. Easy walk to Hurricanes etc. Grayt place that we would rent again.

Perfectly Nestled

This home was perfect for our family of 5 and a friend, nestled in a cute neighborhood of tightly nestled homes. Pool extremely close and easily accessible. The home was equipped to make a beach trip easy and enjoyable. The addition of the beach chairs, towels, bicycles, and pull behind cart (that we used to tote beach chairs) made the back and forth to the beach easy and fun. The kitchen was well-supplied and the grill was clean and convenient to use! We enjoyed being able to eat in when we wanted and being within a short distance of lots of great local restaurants. Tiny issues that were not difficult to overcome included stovetop and oven settings were not visible making temperature control while cooking a manageable adventure, a bicycle with a chain that popped off 3-4 times requiring unexpected roadside fixing a few times, and a mildly touchy front door lock. The owners were prompt and courteous in responding when we needed! We thank you for that. Would recommend you follow their advice and use the bicycle locks at the public beach bicycle racks. We did not and one of the bikes was stolen while we were at the beach. It might feel like a hassle, but will save you the loss of a ride back home and replacement costs. Overall: perfect for us!

Great Property, Thoughtful Hosts

The house is set in a community or part- and full-time residents. The area is far enough from the beach to avoid traffic but close enough to bike there. The house itself solis and beautifully decorated. Two things that really set it apart. 1) everything you could possibly think you need for a good time is already provided, even records, beach stuff and board games. 2) the hosts are super responsive and thoughtful. I’ve already recommend this house to multiple friends and colleagues.

Cannot wait to come back!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and this location! We traveled with our four kiddos ranging in age from 7-14. My teenage boy said, and I quote, "This has been our best vacation yet." Which is a considerable accolade coming from a teenage boy! The property is open, airy, and so tastefully decorated. Britt and Alex provide everything you could need to make your vacation enjoyable. The community is friendly, and the pool, which is small compared to some communities, is well cared for, heated, and always empty, so it is like having a private pool to enjoy. The shuttles to Grayton Beach are on the same road as the community. TBH, we did not use them because it's a short drive to Grayton Beach State Park, where the beaches are open and, in my opinion, more enjoyable because you can spread out without it feeling too crowded. Britt and Alex, your property is beautiful; you were such wonderful and communicative hosts. We hope we can book this property for our next trip down. Thank you for hosting us!

Words cannot express how much we enjoyed this trip and this beautiful home! The description was inadequate. It was so much more. Even the neighbors, who are local residents, were wonderful and hospitable. I am not certain I’ve ever had such prompt and thorough communication with a host. Much needed vacation

We have never felt more relaxed and at home as this place. Great location, peaceful and not far at all from Seaside. Rented a golf cart from local company and it was perfect for getting us to the beach and seaside. I would highly recommend this rental. Thank you so much Britt and Alex for the perfect home away from home.
