Mold, every piece of decor was broken or chipped, walls had paint peeling and scuff marks and holes patched without repainting. Blood stains on box springs, bathroom doors falling apart. Vacasa/vrbo corporate sent complaints to local team twice and no one contacted us. This rental should not be listed, its disgusting and unacceptable. Building and location are great if you can find another rental in the building, but this unit needs mold remediation before anyone else stays there. Sorry if you didnt read this before you got conned into this property.

Don’t recommend

We were not able to do early check in which was fine, they stated the room was not ready although when we got our parking passes the front desk advised to go check. The room was indeed ready. The room had several broken items and cracks in the ceiling and broken tiles. The room had a horrible odor and we have been to the beach multiple times a year and for several years and have never had that. The master bed was hard. My 11 year old said her bed was softer than ours. Need to upgrade all bedding including the pillows. Had to go by pillows for the master after two days. Pillows were standard size instead of king size and flat as a rock. After reading in the book, you cannot turn the air down below a certain temperature to prevent freezing of the unit. The unit did not blow cold air the entire time we stayed in the room. There was peeling paint and mold in the master bathroom that we had reached out about as well as the burners on the stove not working. If you like crowed beach’s that are not private next to the board walk this would be the place for you. But, when booking we assumed the condo had a private beach. That was not the case. TVs in the bedrooms were to little to see but we were not there to watch tv but the kids wanted to. Someone did come by to fix the toilet paper roll as well as bring spray and clean the mold. Overall I am thankful to have time away and to spend with my family and was healthy but the experience could have been better.

Nice Location - great weekend getaway

Details of how to get inn touch with property management weren’t clear. The property isn’t managed by the group that’s in the lobby. Our chair rental wasn’t included, as stated. If it was, no one knew any details. The master bed mattress is terrible. Definitely needs replaced. Bedroom balcony door lock was jammed and we couldn’t open it(not a big deal).

Renters beware

I’ve stayed at this property for years and years and this was the worst unit I’ve seen. Contacted Vacasa multiple times with no help. The master bed is terrible, reviews for the past 2 years have complained. The pull out couch mattress is stained and disgusting. The master sink doesn’t work and drips constantly. The listing says it includes rented chairs and umbrella. We were not on the list every day and would have to call Vacasa to get us added every day while standing on the beach with all of our things. We finally bought our own chairs after waiting an hour one day. The first day we checked in, housekeeping came in on us while we were changing. I called several times, asked for managers to call me, and nothing was done. I have literally been coming for 20 years to this property and know never to rent with Vacasa again. I’m sure they will reply to this review and say they are looking into it and will make changes, but like all past reviews nothing will be done.

Great view!

Beautiful view, nice area. Just needs some minor updates. Nice place to vacation with 4 people, I wouldn’t recommend 6 people (would feel crowded for sleeping on couch pull out)

Great location but needs updated and a better bed!

The condo smells musty as soon as you open the door, bed linens are paper thin ! Poorly stocked Overall needs an update. The bed is the worst! I read a review and didn’t heed the advice! Other than that it’s a great place to stay! easy solution to fix!

Incredible views in a great location

The views from the balcony (and the bedroom and the living room) are quite amazing. The location right next to Seaside and not far from Rosemary was awesome. Vacassa was extremely responsive to all our questions and requests. As stated in other reviews, the master bed is not the best and the unit is a little run down, but not so much that it really affected our enjoyment of the stay. Also, the lobby construction didn't cause any issues.

Packed beach

Room was NOT very Clean, door had been broken into, used a chair at night under knob for security. Coffee make did not work properly. Sand all over the floor, mold/mildew in a couple of places inside and on chairs outside.Beach was full of tents, chairs and umbrellas by 6:00 a.m. By 8:00 a.m. no place to even put a towel down. Supposed to have 2 chairs and umbrella from attendant. Name was not on list, very rude, called Vasca on hold for 27 minutes and finally around 10:00 a.m. got chairs. Only there for 3 days< not very relaxing.

Great Stay

Property was as described. Love the proximity to one of the pools. Golf cart and bicycles were loved by all. Wonderful property for a large group. We hope to be back next year.

It could’ve been better.

Overall, we enjoyed this property, but a few things to note that would’ve made our stay better. The previous reviews about the master bed being awful are true, which poor sleep on vacation is not fun. Do better, Vacasa. I asked about a hairdryer in the unit since those are heavy to bring along. They said there wasn’t one. I found one in the guest bathroom. We did grocery pick up on the way there, so we weren’t sure what kind of coffee pot they had. So I messaged them and they said keurig, so I bought k-cups. Turns out it’s a regular coffee pot, so don’t waste your money on k-cups if they tell you that, too. The pool access bands were a mess. They told us they were in the room in a drawer. So we spent 10+ minutes looking everywhere, gave up and went to the pool, then received a message saying we needed to go to a different office (not the one on property to pick them up). we never once had an issue not having them. And lastly & probably our biggest issue is that the main door doesn’t have any kind of lock from the inside. So anyone with the code could get in at anytime. With two littles sleeping near this door, it didn’t sit well with us to not be able to deadbolt it at night. We also noticed mold throughout different areas of the condo and there was food on the silverware in the drawers. It was nice having a washing machine and dryer, but bring laundry detergent with you.

Beachside Room

Location was great. Being able to look out at the ocean from our room was amazing. We saw a dolphin and manatee go by that we wouldn’t have otherwise have seen if we were at the beach. The beach service was a huge perk. The attendants on site at the condo weren’t aware of this added perk so more direction on who to talk to about this would have been nice up front but we figured it out. Condo was nice. It was undergoing construction but didn’t affect our stay at all. The room worked well for us. The king bed was not the comfiest. Very firm and spring heavy.

Great Experience!

We had a great experience with our family of 4 with two toddlers! Loved the view and very short walk down to the beach! The condo was perfect size and had everything we needed. Also really loved having the two chairs and umbrella that came with the room!

Wonderful Location!

This property was perfect for our trip to Sea Grove Beach. Optimal location and accessibility to the beach. Some of the curtains (shower and window) could be replaced but otherwise it was also very clean.

It would be 5 star except for the horrible mattress!

Loved the place! Great views, location, fast elevators, clean unit. What ruined it was the very old king sized mattress. Our backs were killing us. I even looked for a label to see the age. I only found the date on the box springs which was 1998. And I’m guessing the mattress wasn’t much newer than that. As a former vrbo owner it’s really important to make sure you invest in good mattresses or replace them frequently so that your guests can enjoy comfortable, pain free sleep.
