Dear Rachel, you made an immediate reservation without reading well the description and asking for any additional information on the property. In the ad is clearly noted and also in the rules before making the payment, that I rent a part of the private villa dedicated to the guests, with exclusive use of all the pools, and I don’t ask the deposit for the damages. Few days before your arrival you explicitly told me that you had to check in much earlier, because you had a disabled child and a very old lady with you. I only knew about your mother, whose birthday you went to celebrate in my house. I immediately pointed out to you, that for several reasons (including the deep pool and non-fenced seafront terrace) the house was not suitable for the disabled. You described your child's illness by naming the syndrome and assured me that he is used to going on vacation. The thing that didn't raise me at all. (Upon arrival it was shown that both children could not swim). I had to know, like all the owners, all the information about the guests before, to consent or not their stay in my house, because any accident in my house, which could happen more likely to disabled, old people or to the small kids would be my fault. In the rest, you wrote me that there would also be the boyfriend of your sister's daughter (who was not mentioned in the reservation). I didn't tell you anything. (To bring extra people the house certainly had to be independent, no one would know). I prepared an extra bed and advised you to use the bedroom on the ground floor for your mother, so she wouldn't have to go upstairs on the first floor. I was very worried about that too. The stairs could be dangerous for her, especially after the party, and it is always my responsibility. There are no temporary walls between owner part and the guest part, there is only concrete wall. I would not like to explain to you how the house is divided, it does not concern you (you have only rented the part dedicated to guests). What you described is a space in the corridor with wardrobe with doors turned away to the other side, guests only see the back. I use this space as a storage space for clean bed linen, towels, pillows, clean blankets for the guests themselves, since I can't keep these things in the guest’s bedrooms. On the terrace there are table, chairs, sunbeds and deckchairs, as in the photos. If you needed more outdoor furniture, you could rent another property. When you have your own house directly in the front of the sea you will know, that the windows suffer quadrupled wear cause of direct exposure to the salty wind and sun. They are not dangerous at all, because the armoured glass is composed of many layers and some layers can crack cause the production technology, over than the entire glass remains solid and secure. I have not written any reviews to you, because you did not tell all the truth from the beginning about your particular situation in order not to receive the denial, you left the house, the kitchen and the barbecue very dirty, there were liquorice stains all over the outside terrace that you stepped over without cleaning it during the period of your stay. I found wraps from the pastries for the whole house, despite I always ask my guests not to eat in the bedrooms. After arrival you also looked for some negative (given your particular situation) points and your husband sought the dangers around every corner with excessive paranoia. You gave me 4 stars, also if it was very convenient for your large group of family members to be simple users of the house and pools, to spend time without thinking about very complicated aspects to carry out every day for the technical maintenance. I cannot recommend you to the other owners, since I spent a week of anxiety during your stay. I'm sure you chose the wrong place for your vacation. You should have asked me first, I would have told you right away that we are not suitable and we are not equipped for your family!

I'm so sorry Thomas that you were not fully satisfied. The house was shown to your children, because all of you adults were so busy parking your cars (you drive very well, but maybe it's not your talent), the operation that lasted for such a long time, with the participation of the wife in the role of parking attendant, and the girls were so unhappy and losing patience, that I illustrated them some bedrooms for kids in the house, the pool and the sea to satisfy them after a 20-hour car journey from Denmark. Please, do not be offended that I paid a priority attention to the children and not to you.  However, later, I answered all your questions and showed you the main aspects of the house and I told you about all the important things like you asked me.  One of the important things was to separate the garbage, I showed your wife the different containers, despite this, you did all the opposite, you leaved a mountain of rubbish mixed, so I had to separate it. It's weird Thomas that you write there are no buses or taxis. The local and regional buses stop is right in front of the house. Also, you used the taxi service several times. Probably you forgot that you called the nine-seat taxi personally.  In my opinion you should bring less Danish sad beer with you and try to taste the local beer and wine, maybe you would let your vacations be more joyful and do not look for problems where they are not!
