La casa esta muy bonita, solo en la parte de la sala, comedor y cocina son insuficientes los ventiladores de techo ya que hace demasiado calor, también había muchas hormigas en la cocina y los apagadores son tantos que es confuso.

Beautiful

Villa anka was a beautiful location a short walk to arrocito beach, property was very well maintained by Mr Rosendo whom did an excellent job at keeping the pool cleans and the gardens tended to super nice and attentive

AC Just in bedrooms It was extremely hot and didn’t get to fully enjoy the house. The pool was wonderful and the care of the groundskeeper was professional. There were so many ants in the kitchen and bugs.The beds were very comfortable but unfortunately we will not return unless air conditioning in the living area is added.Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great for families

We loved the property everything was great the view, the pool, the neighborhood and everything that came with it. The only thing that we would've liked is to be a little more well kept. The cleanness wasn't the greatest but it wasn't the worst either. Other than that everything was great.

Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at the Villa the pool was great and the house was in very good condition, Sando and Eva were very good hosts and kept the pool clean and in good working order. The taxi service past the house was very convient so very little waiting to head into town amazing wildlife on the property. Joe from MyHuatulco was very helpful for our stay and all of the people we met from Myhuatulco at the house did a fine job of looking after the property, a few small item that we noticed are the pool area could use a few more lounge chairs and there was at times a bit of a sewer gas smell in the masterbed room bathroom at times.

Wonderful place!

We highly recommend Villa Anka. Beautiful property! Lots of space for a family or friends. There is a family who lives on the property who takes care of the pool and gardens. They give you plenty of privacy. We became good friends with them. Chendo and Eva. They help with anything you may need. Taxis are available right outside your gate. We felt very safe and secure there. The smaller pool area is perfect for little ones.

Located in the quiet community of Arrocito, we loved waking up each morning and enjoying our coffee on the upper terrace alongside ocean views and chirping birds. Our days were spent lounging by the large pool which has a unique/shallow wading area...I found it ideal for relaxing and reading my book others found it perfect for enjoying a drink. You're close to town and in walking distance to Arrocito Beach (including a great beachside restaurant located in the condo complex down there). Would highly recommend this property for groups and families, can't wait to come back!

Fantastic Stay at Villa Ankar Huatulco

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 8 days in Villa Ankar in Huatulco. What a fantastic villa this was - even better than the pictures showed it to be. Very clean and spacious for the four of us (wife and 2 teenage kids), with separate bedrooms, walk-in wardrobes and bathrooms, plus a large kitchen and lounge. Also a 15m swimming pool which was always kept clean by Mr Rochendo - a very lovely, kind and attentive man. With very close access to the nearby beach and the town centre approx 5 min drive away, this was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and area - with many dips into the pool when it got hot. The area was quiet and everyone was very friendly.The My Huatulco team were truly excellent, super friendly and very attentive with any request responded and acted on very quickly.I would highly recommend this villa and the Huatulco team and give a full 5 star rating.

Family vacation

The place is good but no AC in kitchen and no AC in living room. I was very disappointed cause I asked the rental agency and they said it had ac. You must turn off all exterior lights at night or you will be swarmed with bugs. Also the front door needs weather strip cause bugs come inside like crazy. The guest bedroom also needs a weather strip at door cause bugs will come in. I used towels to prevent bugs to come in. By the way the rental agency informed me the day of arrival that the pool guy lives on property. He is a nice man and the pool is super clean but I felt like it was an invasion of my privacy.

Beautiful Place but you must love BUGS

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is beautiful, spacious rooms but only the bedrooms have air conditioning. Main living areas (living/dining rooms and kitchen) only have fans which makes it uncomfortable for gathering there for meals or activities. You must be comfortable to share the space with BUGS (remember you're in their environment). Many of the doors and windows did not close properly and allowed entry for the bugs to enter. Pool was great, but again the bugs were everywhere. Iggy the Iguana always greeted you around the pool. The fridge was not working on our day of arrival but the management company were very responsive and had it fixed the following day. The location was close to La Crucecita and Santa Cruz but you need a taxi or rent a car.

No hot water, old unit. Someone will watch your every move!

Property is very dated, needs lots of repairs. Hot water tank could never afford anyone past 1 for hot water is non existent. At the end, we did an inspection, we were told everything was fine. We also asked the procedures 3 days in advance for how to take care of towels, bedding etc. We were told to leave them all. The management company tried to blame us for a 1/8 ripped sheet that was there upon check in. Plus 2 towels that were used. The water externally is turned off on the property to wash feet outside! Switches on the wall are falling off. Lots of repairs are needed. Someone is taking the money and not enhancing the home like a normal home deserves. This home needs some major TLC. They should prepair the home for a family including hot water. If intermittent hot water is the standard, we wouldn’t rent this house again. For the money, and they didn’t have a trash can available knowing there was a a family coming, these are basic things. The home needs repairs to tiles, switches falling off the wall, water faucets leaking, shower heads when used excessively leaking etc. This wasn’t what we expected. We bathe in cold water for 2-3 days out of 5.
