Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Villa Vidu is a beautiful villa, very clean, and a wonderful friendly staff. The little village is nice because there are a couple of restaurants very close by. We very much enjoyed our stay. The only complaints we have are about the barking dogs next-door that bark all night long and the smoke from the restaurant next-door comes directly into the villa most days as they are smoking fish. But I guess that’s what happens when you were in a small beach village!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As described the property and location were special. It is well maintained and the MHV Staff and Property Manager were fantastic. We have been to Huatulco several times and this was our 1st time in a Luxury Vacation Rental and it was great. Not a place to go if you like the hustle and bustle or night life, which we were not. As a note La Bocana beach may not be the best beach for young children or non-swimmers as the waves are rather large.

Excellent

If you want seclusion, yet easy access to town. If you want blow your mind ocean views. If you want easy access to an intermediate surf break. If you want long early morning beach walks. Then this place will deliver. Only downside - this place would not be suitable for young children as the pool is open access from the house and would be stressful. House staff - Carimino and Julia were super helpful. Pics are accurate, if understated. Will be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently spent 2 weeks at Villa Vidu for a family trip. It was wonderful . The Villa was beautiful and the views outstanding! A special thank you to Camerino who takes care of the property ! He went over and above for us... setting up the beach chairs and umbrella everyday, keeping our pool very clean and giving us tips on the best beaches to visit as well as restaurants etc... such a kind and helpful man! Thank you to everyone at MHV . We were very impressed with the service. Special thank you to Joe who took care of booking everything from our rental car to our fishing tour and chef dinners. Everything was seamless! The chefs dinners were amazing... highly recommend! Next trip we are booking him full time... best meals we had! We are looking forward to returning!!

There is a wonderful staff who made sure we had everything we needed during our whole stay. There is a house manager, a daily cleaning lady, and office staff who check on you frequently to make sure you have everything you need. We got the full-service package with a chef cooking for us, which made our vacation even better. Master is absolutely gorgeous, but does have all the oceans views, so we swapped out rooms during the trip so everyone could have a turn. Bedrooms are quite unequal in that way. House is situated beachfront on a public beach. The water there is murky because a river empties nearby. Even so, we loved being beachfront. It was our first time being in Huatulco, and we realized that there is actually very little beachfront, so we were happy with our choice. Location is great, just a quick taxi ride into the center of town or to the marina which cost about five dollars US. There is a surf school, a mezcaleria and a little beach front palapa restaurant right next-door to the house.All in all, we loved this house and would definitely go back. Missing it already!

Excelente estancia

La casa es muy funcional. Buen mantenimiento, aunque un día tuvimos una falla eléctrica en toda la casa. Excelente limpieza. La ubicación es formidable, al pie de la playa. El servicio es muy bueno. Lo único que yo no volvería a contratar son los servicios del chef, ya que en mi opinión, no vale la pena (son muy costosos para la simpleza de la comida)

Once of a kind home, right on the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the pictures online, we knew Villa Vidu was going to be nice, but when we first walked in and saw it in person, we we're blown away. The waves were breaking just off the end of the infinity pool, with a few surfers riding the waves. We had 2 families, with a total of 4 adults and 4 kids who were all between 10 and 13.The house was perfect. The beach is fantastic. There are 2 beach restaurants next door. There's a new boutique hotel a short walk away where you can get breakfast and drinks. You're far enough away from town that the beach is quiet, but close enough that you're a 10 minute (100 peso) ride from all the restaurants, shopping, etc. of town.We're big fans of Villa Vidu!

Beautiful Oasis on the Water

Although our trip was complicated due to COVID and a tropical storm, we had a very nice time during low season at the property. All staff was very kind and helpful. Beautiful home on a quiet beach a bit off the beaten path.

Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home, stunning views, right on the beach, open air design, very private and walk down the stairs your on the beach, driftwood, seashells, beautiful waves, great for a family or couples, very private villa, the views from every area of the home are stunning super quiet, the world is your oyster here, a bit of a drive from town and restaurant but all depends of what kind of vacation you are looking for, locals are super friendly and helpful in every way! The pool/ maintenance guy Camarino is awesome, he’s there everyday and just keeps working on the home, pool, watering plants, ETC, ETC! Love the guy, Judith the home cleaning lady comes everyday, cleaned the place spotless daily, she even washed our cloths and hung them up for us, she made us pizza one day ( yum ) and made us burgers another day! Awesome house staff! Restaurants are few and far between but a couple true local outdoor Mexican seafood cuisine Restaraunts close by, next door neighbor was.a taxi driver, his wife had a little store with some Knicknacks, milk, eggs, chips, BEER! Some necessities to save you from having to go to town to buy groceries, the home may be 15 years old or so but being right on the beach the salt water takes its toll, any home right on the ocean is hit hard by salt water so some parts of the home are starting to show the wear of its age, could use a good renovation, but still beautiful and I would rent it again, still recommend this place! Best vacation I have had in years, peace, quiet, peaceful beautiful! Sunsets on the beach sunrises , Recommend this place to anyone (-:

It’s very clean and well-kept. The view is like a dream! The house staff are professional and helpful. The My Huatulco Vacations team is very helpful and professional. They are prompt with replies to questions. We would recommend this experience to anyone who needs rest and relaxation! We also explored Huatulco with ATVs and made our way into the jungle to see some beautiful waterfalls. We will be back again!!

Loved the local feel (not a lot of tourists and only one other villa on Bocana Beach). The villa itself was clean, very well appointed, and the staff (Judy and Camerino) were amazing. Master bedroom provided unbelievable sunrise views. The villa management team helped make reservations, lined up a private boat excursion (highly recommend!) and was generally very responsive before and during our stay. We arranged for meals to be prepared at the villa and the food/staff were fantastic. Internet was spotty, but time off the grid was well worth it. We will definitely be back!!!
