The perfect stay

Our family absolutely loved our stay at this charming and comfortable villa. It came stocked with plenty of snacks and supplies and had an amazing view from the yard of the sea below. Our hosts were so warm, welcoming and helpful! We hope to come back and stsy again sometime.

Super Urlaub

Die Ferienwohnung war toll ausgestattet. Alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich und mit wunderbarer Dekoration versehen. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Dank guter Busverbindungen haben wir das Auto die ganze Zeit im Carport lassen können. Wir können das Quartier mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Excellent location

Comfortable and well equipped apartment - and in a great location to access the path network of the Portofino peninsula. Ines and Paolo are great hosts. This is the ground floor of a two storey building and you will be aware (not intrusively) of your upstairs neighbours.

Ganz liebe und freundliche Vermieter, die Unterkunft ist vollständig ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts + sehr viel Stauraum. Alles sehr, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Und es gab einen Geschenkkorb für uns :) Auf der FeWo Seite steht zwar, dass im Haus geraucht werden darf (?), aber im Haus roch es überhaupt nicht danach. Der Ausblick ist unbeschreiblich schön!

Great Stay

Ines and Paolo were great hosts. On our arrival there was a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us as well as an assortment of breakfast foods and such for our use during our stay. They even provided us with farm-fresh eggs while we were there. The accommodations were nice and clean with a great view of the sea. The house is about 10 minutes (by car) out from the Santa Margherita Ligure waterfront along the main road between Santa Margherita and Camogli (about midway between the two). This places it well out from the main tourist spots which meant that it was generally quiet and most importantly, we were able to dine out at authentic Italian eateries within walking distance at reasonable prices. Try the Trattoria da Oreste (across from the Church) and if they have the rabbit stew (enough for two) we definitely recommend it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Ines and Paolo went out of their way to make us feel at home. We would stay again if we ever come back to the area.

We drove to the train station in Recco and phoned for directions, within 10 minutes Lorenzo met us and guided us to the house. The view was breathtaking and the house elegant and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped. Lorenzo, Ines and family were most welcoming and helpful. There was wine and a lovely welcoming food basket, they also dropped off cherries and some fresh eggs. Their directions for hiking, dining and groceries were outstanding. Our time in San Lorenzo Della Costa was magical, everything we had hoped for. The hiking is fantastic, hiking to San Fruttuoso Abbey is well worth it. Lorenzo guided us to a parking lot to shorten the hike, it is steep in places but well marked with good footing. We went both directions, down to the water and back, taking the ferry one way is another option. The hike was a grand way to build an appetite for the best food we've had in Italy at Da Oreste, we ate there twice! Da Oreste is a short walk so we enjoyed their outstanding house wine. Across from Da Oreste is an alimentaria (grocery store), the owner was very helpful and the prices reasonable.

Gorgeous location and lovely hosts - Santa margherita is a must see town! Highly recommend!

I can’t say am enough wonderful things about Ines and Paolo, they were hands down the most accommodating and gracious hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with.I’m a solo traveler & underestimated the distance between the train station and the home, they quickly let me know they’d be at the train station to pick me up and drive me to the house. This was one of three times they were so generous with their time driving me to town and the station. if I had it to do again I’d definitely rent a car or Vespa, there is a bus stop close by but with my luggage it would have been physically challenging for me to get to and from, so I’d recommend renting a vehicle for sure.They house itself was so well equip, gorgeous views, very comfortable and well appointed. Ines left a basket full of treats including farm fresh eggs (from their chickens), wine, butter, milk, coffee, bread, jam, cookies, brioche, and more. I loved the eggs so much they left fresh ones outside my door each morning! I’m a remote bookkeeper so my business requires me to be online as I travel, my recommendation for those with the same needs is to bring a wifi extender as it’s an older structure with thick walls that slow the signal down but completely doable with an extender. Last piece of advice if your traveling from a country with different voltage is a good converter (not just an adapter) but a voltage conversion plug.I took a boat to Portofino from Santa margherita, that was amazing! A+ all around!! Grazie!!!

Sono sicuro che chi affitta questa casa vorrà certamente ritornare

E la cuarta volta che affittiamo questa casa ed oni volta mi faccio la stessa domanda que non oso fa re alla padrona di casa. Questa è: come si fa a mantenere tutta la biancherìa cioè federe, lenzuola, asciugamani e tende con una bianchezza immacolata in competenza con una nevi cata. Oltre essere assolutamente pulita, quasi asettica, è una casa dove non manca nulla per procurare una permanenza comoda e piacevole. Se avete piacere di cucinare avete tutto il necesario e se non volete cucinare avete trattorie a pochi metri di distanza dove si mangia ottimamente. A tutto questo dovete aggiungere la gentilezza della padrona di casa che accorre non appena la chiamate e a volte prevede le vostre necessitá ed anticipa la sua presenza. Sono sicuro che chi affitta questa casa vorrà certamente ritornare

Italiano: Entrare nella casa di via Aurelia 75, San Lorenzo della Costa, Santa Margherita é trovarsi in una casa con un certo ambito antico ma con tutto quello che il progresso ha messo a disposizione dell’uomo per rendere comoda la sua vita. E una casa pulitissima quasi asettica. Decorata con buon gusto ma sopratutto con amore. E impossibile immaginare che tanti bei particolari siano dedicati a gente estranea che eventualmente affitta la casa e non al uso personale del propietario. Entrare in questa casa si sente come se fossimo entrati in casa della mamma o della nonna. Si sente quella presenza familiare nelle tendine immacolate che coprono le finestre coi loro pizzi e ricami, nel bel copriletto a fiori che copre un letto di romantica foggia antica ed in ogni dettaglio di decorazione. Se aprite la porta e vi affacciate fuori, avete un delizioso panorama composto da un magnifico golfo che racchiude un mare splendidamente azzurro ed alle spalle vostre y monti, cosparsi di mille casette nascoste fra gli olivi el altre piante, che apportatano il profumo di campaña che invita al rilassamento ed al riposo. Se vi piace cucinare avete una cucina munita di tutto il necessario per farlo con la stessa pulizia che regña nel resto della casa. E se non amate la cucina avete a 150 metri una trattoria dove si mangia magníficamente e a prezzi giusti, con un menú dove figurano tutti i piatti liguri tanto della cucina antica come di quella moderna. Ma a quanto detto bisogna aggiungere la cosa piu importante che é la gentilezza della padrona di casa. E una persona che prevede le necessitá che si possono avere ed offre il suo aiuto con una gentilezza quasi insolita. Chi affitti questa casa cuando se ne andrá sentirá come se avesse lasciato un parente che non dimenticherá mai e vorrá ritornare come sucede a me. Español: Entrar en la casa de Via Aurelia 75, San Lorenzo della Costa. Santa Margherita, es encontrarse en una casa con un cierto ámbito antiguo pero conteniendo todo lo que el progreso ha puesto al alcance del hombre para su mayor comodidad. Es una casa extremadamente limpia casi aséptica. Decorada con buen gusto pero sobre todo con amor. Es imposible imaginar que tantos hermosos detalles sean dedicados a personas que eventualmente alquilen la casa y no al uso personal del propietario. Bei Ines und Paolo fühlt man sich sehr willkommen, sie sind bei der Ankunft persönlich anwesend, zeigen alles und sind sehr bemüht, dass es an nichts fehlt! Im Kühlschrank haben sie Eier, Milch und einen Prosecco bereitgestellt, dazu einen Korb mit Frühstück gefüllt in der Küche, so ein herzlicher Empfang! Sie sind einfach liebe Menschen, auch mit Hund fühlt man sich wohl bei ihnen💕! Der Blick vom Haus ist wunderbar, das Morgenrot über der Bucht ist so friedlich, wir hatten Wetterglück🍀! Die Vermieter sind total nett .Ein riesiger Willkommenskorb mit leckeren Sachen stand für uns in der Küche. Herzlichen Dank. Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet.Toll ist die Spülmaschine, Wasserkocher, alles ist vorhanden. Gepflegter Garten zum draußen Essen und Sitzen unter Bäumen. Für uns war leider die Straße unterhalb zu laut.

Traumhafte Ferienwohnung

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Woche bei Ines und Paolo. Die Wohnung war tiptop eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Im schön angelegten Garten konnte man sich prächtig erholen. Unsere Hunde haben sich im eingezäunten Grundstück auch super wohlgefühlt. Die Gegend eignet sich für tolle Ausflüge und Wanderungen man ist schnell in den bekannten Badeorten. Die Wanderrouten sind gut markiert und für jedes Level geeignet. Ein grosses Dankeschön an Ines und Paolo für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Familie mit drei Kindern

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, ideal zentral zwischen verschiedenen sehr schönen Orten gelegen. Sehr schöne Wanderungen möglich, direkt von der Wohnung aus. Der Bus fährt ein paar Meter von der Tür entfernt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Tolle Ausstattung und perfekte Sauberkeit. In der Wohnung gibt es einige traditionelle Dekoration welche sehr passend für die Gegend sind, allerdings teilweise auch zerbrechlich (Vorsicht mit wilden Kindern). Wir waren mit drei Kindern in der Wohnung. Zwei Kinder haben gemeinsam auf dem ausklappbaren Sofa geschlafen. Das hat ohne Probleme funktioniert. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub mit Besuchen in Genua, Cinque Terre, Wanderung direkt von der Wohnung zu San Fruttoso und nach Santa Margarita, sowie viele weitere kleinere Ausflüge. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit.

In 10 Jahren Genua die beste Unterkunft!

Wir reisen seit 10 Jahren jährlich nach Genua. Bisher hatten wir jedes Mal eine andere Unterkunft. Hier stimmt wirklich alles. Ines und ihr Mann sind sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist groß und geräumig. Ob man im Garten oder auf der kleinen Terrasse frühstückt, Meerblick ist inklusive. Eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Bucht von Rapallo. An Ausstattung ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Ein Badezimmer mit Fenster, Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Klimaanlage, sogar eine Heizung was dort wirklich nicht üblich ist. Das Haus ist praktisch und gemütlich eingerichtet und das Wichtigste, die Betten bzw. Matratzen waren top. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit bei Euch. Non manca niente! Basterebbe gia' questo per dare una recensione completa . Tutto quello che serve per un'ottima vacanza sulle alture del golfo del tigulio. La splendida accoglienza di Ines e Paolo, ti fa' sentire da subito a tuo agio. La casa splendida e accogliente, offre tutto ,ma proprio tutto, quello che si puo' chiedere per trascorrere un periodo all'insegna della comodita'. Le terazze in mezzo agli ulivi che si affacciano sul golfo, godono di una ottima vista per una piacevole colazione o per una rilassante cena godendo dei fantastici tramonti liguri. Grazie! Ci siamo trovati benissimo e sicuramente ci si rivedra', belin!:)

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit traumhafter Aussicht

Wir waren für sechs Tage bei Ines und Paolo und haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war für uns zwei plus jungem Hund perfekt geeignet und die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich. Die Aussicht ist wirklich wunderschön, wir haben sehr gern zur aufgehenden Sonne auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Kochen braucht und Ines hatte sogar einen kleinen Geschenkkorb mit Leckereien für uns bereit gestellt. Im Bad gab es bereits Seife, Shampoo, Toilettenpapier und auf dem Bett lagen Handtücher bereit - alles nicht selbstverständlich und für uns der perfekte Start in einen entspannten Urlaub. Die Ferienwohnung ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Santa Margherita, Rapallo, Camogli und Co. Es lässt sich in der näheren Umgebung aber auch super wandern (bspw Monte Esoli), der Ausblick lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten und haben die Ferienwohnung auch schon unserer Familie empfohlen.

Sehr schöne Umgebung

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber und großzügig. Es gab keine Probleme, für Rückfragen waren die Gastgeber sofort zur Stelle, hervorragender Service. Die Ferienwohnung bietet eine überragende Aussicht auf den Golf von Tigullio. Santa Margherita Liqure bietet sehr viele Freizeitmöglichkeiten (Wandern, Radfahren, etc.) und hat viele gute Restaurants und schöne Strände.

Wunderschöne Tage

Tolle Ferienwohnung, schöner Garten mit wundervollem Blick auf die Bucht. Schon beim herzlichen begrüßen sind die Eigentümer ganz freundlich auf uns zubekommen, zu unserer Überraschung gab es auch noch ein Willkommensgeschenk. Ein ganzer Korb voll lokaler Köstlichkeiten, Kaffee, Wein, Milch hat uns den Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht. Alles in allem einfach top! Gerne wieder!

Geräumige Wohnung in herrlicher Lage

Ein außerordentlich freundliches Gastgeberehepaar bereitet einem herrliche Tage: Eine vorzügliche Kommunikation vor der Anreise, ein sehr herzliches Willkommen, nicht zuletzt mit einem großen Geschenkkorb mit Köstlichkeiten aus der Region und dem eigenen Garten. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig (großzügiger Wohn-, Koch-/Essbereich, großes Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, kleines Zimmer mit Einzelbett, kleines Arbeitszimmer mit Schreibplatz) und hat alles, was man zum täglichen Bedarf braucht. Zusätzlich stehen eine Terrasse und ein Gartenbereich mit faszinierendem Ausblick auf S. Lorenzo, die Küste und das Meer zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist ideal für Wanderungen: Nur wenige Meter vom Haus entfernt ist der Einstieg zu den sehr gut ausgebauten Wanderwegen des Portofino-Parks. Außerdem befindet sich in nächster Nähe die Bushaltestelle, von wo aus man sowohl nach Camogli und S. Margherita wie auch nach Genua fahren kann. Das Auto kann man getrost die ganze Zeit auf dem hauseigenen Parkplatz stehen lassen. Wir haben die Tage dort sehr genossen.

Un appartamentino comodissimo e molto carino vicino a Margherita Ligure. Proprietaria molto cordiale ci ha accolto splendidamente facendoci sentire subito come a casa, non abbiamo sentito la mancanza di nulla. Consigliatissimo!

Perfect place to stay.

This place is perfect as a starting point for beautiful hiking trips through the natural parc of portofino. The house is fine with everything you need. It was very clean. Kitchen well equipped. The owners are very nice and helpful. A great surprise was a welcome basket with food and wine. And it is very comfortable to park the car in front of the house. Thank you for having us.

Einfach nur wunderbar!

Alles hat prima geklappt: Anreise, Schlüsselübergabe, kurze Tour durch das Haus. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Es gab einen Geschenkkorb mit Keksen, Kaffee, Tee, Brot etc. zur Begrüßung und im Kühlschrank stand Wasser, Milch und sogar eine Weinflasche für uns. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und schön. Die Aussicht aufs Meer ist toll und von hier aus erreicht man wunderschöne Orte wie Portofino und die Cinque Terre problemlos. Wir hatten wunderbare Tage hier. Vielen Dank für Alles!
