The bus runs every 15 minutes in the direction of Alcúdia, Puerto de Pollença or other directions such as Palma. The sandy beach is only 100 metres from the house. This beach is perfect for small children as it is not very deep and has no waves.
The house of 200 m2 distributed in two floors, has four bedrooms, one on the ground floor with double bed, and three on the 1st floor, two with two single beds and one with double bed. All the bedrooms have air conditioning. There are three bathrooms that give service to the whole house, one on the ground floor with shower and two on the 1st floor (one of them en suite with bathtub) and another one with shower. In the spacious living room, which has a ceiling fan, you can relax watching satellite TV or reading a book. The furnished dining room is open to the living room where you can enjoy lunch and dinner with your loved ones. The kitchen is modern and has everything you need to prepare your best dishes, including electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, electric coffee machine, ...etc. In the property you have access to 1 washing machine, 1 dryer, 1 iron and 1 ironing board. There is availability for a cot and a high chair.
The property has 3 balconies in the upper part of the house, and 1 outdoor furnished terrace on the ground floor of 40m2, equipped with parasol and terrace furniture where you can enjoy your summer evenings and just a few meters from the sea. There is also an indoor terrace of 49 m2 with an octagonal table with 8 chairs for outdoor dining, a barbecue to enjoy outdoor cooking and a rocking chair/swing to relax on. In Ca'n Picafort you will find several restaurants for any palate: fresh fish, good meat, pizza and pasta, tapas and typical Mallorcan cuisine. If you just want to kill your hunger you can have a drink in the many bars and cafés in the area and on the promenade. There are also plenty of shops; apart from clothes, shoes and souvenir shops you will also find small supermarkets and grocery shops. The big supermarkets are on the road towards Artà or towards Alcúdia. Nearby you will also find 2 petrol stations. By car or bus you can easily reach many other beaches: Playa de Muro, Playa de Formentor, Son Serra de Marina, Puerto de Alcúdia or Puerto de Pollença. The old town of Alcúdia, with its cobbled streets, is well worth a visit. Go to the squares, the church and the walls surrounding the town. Inside, plenty of bars and good restaurants are a good place to stop for a while. Tuesdays and Saturdays are market days in Alcúdia, which becomes a bustling, lively place. Don't forget to visit the Roman ruins of Pollentia.
