Casa Perla is PERFECTO!

Casa Perla quickly felt like home to us and our two pups during the Christmas holiday. Everything you need is available and ready for you when you arrive and our property host was outstanding. We had a lovely gift basket full of goodies when we arrived and we thoroughly enjoyed the close proximity to amazing restaurants and shopping, all in walking distance to this amazing casita. Leaving was hard but we will be back again.

Perfect Spot!

This is a beautifully appointed property. Amenities are top notch and the decor sophisticated. On a practical level, there is dedicated parking and an easy walk to the Plaza. On a personal level, the homeowner was generous and communicative. We felt well cared for. The lovely private patio is a cherry on top

Fantastic Location

This is by far the most fabulous place to stay to see historic Santa Fe. 1.5 mile walk to plaza, canyon road and historic Cathedral Basilica of St Francis. So much to do and to see. This place was very well stocked with a very comfortable bed, soft linens and towels. Wonderful kitchen. We will return!

Perfect home for a Santa Fe getaway

We just had the pleasure of a 10-night stay here, and can't wait to return. Exceeded expectations. Super cute property with a sense of place and modern updates/appliances. Perfect location - we walked everywhere - to the plaza, canyon road, the river trails. Also ideal for dogs, large enough outdoor patio for them to hang out, plenty of room in the bedroom for their crate, and close to the park/trail. Caroline was helpful and responsive. We were sad to leave!

A beautiful gem of a place, perfect location, wonderful host

Caroline of Aqui was a pleasure to communicate with before, during and after our one week stay. And she welcomed us with a basket of goodies! The home is beautiful, cozy, comfortable, and luxurious. The bed and sofa-bed were both very comfortable. Washer and dryer worked flawlessly. We really appreciated this being a perfectly quiet location. It is a pleasant and easy walk to the plaza and Canyon road and many many stellar restaurants. Cords to recharge iphones are thoughtfully provided in the bedroom. Highlights of our trip were the shopping and art galleries, the beautiful adobe architecture everywhere, watching the sun set on the distant mountains from the hilltop Cross of the Martyrs, going to a lecture on the Future of Physics at the downtown Lensic Performing Arts Center, the Railyard Farmers market, the car shows in the Plaza this particular week (Porsche in the a.m. and muscle cars in the p.m.) and of course the fantastic meals we had every day. Clafoutis for breakfast or lunch is always worth the very short drive. Though we never cooked a meal in the gourmet kitchen, the large counter provided a convenient place to sit our various belongings needed for the day (water, iphones, camera, hat, sweater, keys, etc.). Santa Fe is the one place in the world that we return to from time to time and we are always enchanted! Casa Perla is a gem!

Nice stay

Fireplace doesnt draw right is only down side, u have to crack the door and it was 30 out. Location is easily walkable to downtown and has off street parking large enough for a van. Was very nice stay.

Great location and property for two!

Perfect location for walking to The Plaza or Canyon Road. Loved the kitchen and private patio! Perfect space for 2. The shower and toilet backed up, but host was helpful in reaching resolution before the day was out. We hope to be back!

Wonderful home, location, and trip!

This was my 4th trip to Santa Fe, and as usual it did not disappoint. The home was wonderful, and conveniently located to Canyon Rd and the Plaza. Our host, Caroline, was terrific, and met us for check-in. Be sure to go through the book she provides with carefully curated suggestions on restaurants, galleries, and other things to do. Despite this being my 4th trip, I learned a lot of new things to do, and places to eat, and each was incredible. Highlights of the trip included dinner at Atrisco (a down home type of restaurant, with the best carne adovada), dinner at Restaurant Martin, and a trip to Meow Wolf. A few suggestions to newcomers to New Mexico - eat all things New Mexican cuisine, get your chile Christmas style, and always bring a jacket.

Perfect place!

I spent a week in this terrific property while visiting friends who live in Santa Fe and going to the opera. Everything was just excellent -- unbeatable location, beautifully designed space, large and luxurious patio, very high end amenities. Highly recommended!

Not for publication: Many little things that became major annoyances; AC too loud , too cold, unable to open windows sealed with tape and without screens. Screens that were there were broken. Two were doors. Either unsafe to leave open or critter access which we saw. More than double the cost of places next door we’ve stayed in and not worth it. Beautiful art, rugs but that doesn’t make up for lack of comfort, safety.

The casita was clean and quaint, but way smaller than what we anticipated. Also, reserved the 2 bedroom and got the one bedroom. Which wasn’t what we’ve been used to. Location was good. Carolyn was very gracious and refunded a portion of our money once she researched the error in booking. Very nice individual, we were very appreciative.
