The house is large with great views but it is not aging well. It needs a lot of TLC and the basics provided by the management company should be elevated. Last point, the foam mattress in the master bedroom is unusable. It has significant permanent body indentations so every time you roll over your rolling up hill. We had to use one of the smaller bedrooms with a queen bed. I’m sure this was top level luxury home 20 years ago but it just feels old now. For the price and description I was expecting better.

The house is fabulous...very spacious and comfortable. We had a family trip (4 generations) for a pre-Thanksgiving getaway. Only negatives are the meager amount of supplies, e.g. 2 kitchen trash bags, very little dish soap, 2 dishwasher tabs; no plastic wrap, foil or storage bags. Also, there should be an explanation of the fireplace in the primary bedroom. It turned itself on & off in the middle of our first night there.

House is very clean and extremely spacious. Everything we needed was provided except the check out instructions. We could not find them in the booklet provided or our check in instructions on VRBO. Having rented many, many times, I know what needs to be done. However we did not know the check out time, resulting in us being an hour late for check out. We talked to the house keepers and all was fine.On another note, the location is beautiful, quiet and close to stores and downtown. The beds were comfortable and the TV worked great.

The property was spectacular and the kitchen was amazing as were the closets! The location was very close to Santa Fe's plaza and all the restaurants and Canyon Road but we were out of the hubbub.

Property management team needs work

Very nice house and overall we were mostly comfortable here. Note: upstairs bedroom was very warm and there is no attached bathroom. The problem was that it was impossible to get ahold of the property mgmt company! The previous renter left a note that was still on the kitchen counter when we checked in - and none of what they reported had been fixed. We had problems w/ one of the toilets in the house, and I messaged the Mgmt. company (no response), and called them multiple times. Usually calls went to VM, but the one time I got thru, the guy couldn't tell me why nobody was responding or when someone would be out to fix things. Nobody ever followed up to address problems during our stay. So disappointing considering the price we paid.

Perfect place!

The property was breathtakingly beautiful with views to die for! Felt private and tucked away. Location was perfect and an easy drive to grocery store and downtown area. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out with 4 bedrooms downstairs each with their own en-suite bathroom and one more bed upstairs (only downside to that room was no bathroom, so we had to go downstairs in the middle of the night to use the half bath and also borrow one of the other rooms bathrooms to shower). The place was immaculate and was fully stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of towels and linens, extra pillows, and enough toilet paper, paper towels, etc that we didn’t have to buy any during our 6 day stay. The kitchen was a chefs dream and was well appointed and perfect for cooking big meals. The only thing we couldn’t find that we needed was a cheese grater and we purchased one and left it there. Loved all of the seating in the huge living room, there were 2 sofas, a sectional, and 2 comfy chairs. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out and have movie night. The only feedback I have is that the mattresses weren’t the greatest- the memory foam mattress in the primary bedroom had a big hump in the middle and not much support on the sides. Check in and check out was super easy. We had zero issues so didn’t have to communicate with the property owner/management. Overall, this place was a 10/10 and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

My first booking ever

This is the first time I've ever booked with any home rental service. Calle Dorthia was beautiful, and spacious with stunning views. Vrbo made it easy, and Kokopelli, the property management company was very helpful during our stay. My only recommendation is to be more communicative prior to the actual booking. I had unanswered questions while I was debating between several properties for our family get together.

5 night stay with group of cousins

I've stayed in many VRBOs. This property is exceptional in all ways. The view from the living room is spectacular, as well as from the outdoor seating areas. The house is very spacious allowing guests private spaces and multiple places to gather for meals and socialization. I loved the Southwest and modern decor. The grounds are beautifully manicured. HIghly recommend!

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was large enough to accommodate our group and had everything you could possibly need. The decor was beautiful and vistas stunning while you have your morning coffee. This was a very convenient location for sightseeing. I highly recommend and we hope to return again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dorthia Garden Retreat & Views! The property was very spacious for our group of 10 + 1 infant and it was very near Santa Fe plaza, great restaurants, and convenience / grocery stores. The property managers were very helpful and accommodating!
