I am actually a longtime resident of the area and wanted to treat myself to a staycation for my birthday, so I knew that the house was in a great area near my fav beach. (Walking distance!) The house was perfect, so comfortable with a great, well-stocked kitchen and cool extras like bicycles, movies and games, boogie boards and wetsuits and more. The hosts were so nice and easy to communicate with and ready to help in any way!Now I know where my visiting family can sta!

Cathy’s home was perfect for our little family. We enjoyed the hot tub, walking to the ocean staircase, and little surprise visits from Sam. The house is well-stocked and very clean. We would love to visit again.

My son had his heart set on going to Santa Cruz to celebrate his 12th birthday. This home was absolutely the perfect place to do that! The house and the location were perfect. Just a short walk to the local beach, and the owners provided everything you could need for a fun day there: boogie boards, wetsuits, sand, toys, etc. The house itself was stocked with everything you might need as well. Owners communicated very well and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This home is perfect and provided the most relaxing vacation. The neighborhood was incredible as well, peaceful & quiet, minutes away from an ocean view, and quick access to everything we needed. Cathy & Andre were so helpful and easy to contact with any questions. My husband and I would definitely come stay again.

This stay was amazing! We came to celebrate my daughter’s 20th bday in Santa Cruz. The home was clean, cozy, furnished & decorated so beautifully! We enjoyed every minute of it. If I could dream of a home near the beach, this would check all the boxes. You are welcomed through the garden gate with a beautiful flowers and a garden filled with hummingbirds and butterflies. The home is warmly decorated in a beach theme and appointed with everything you need for your stay. Cathy thought of everything! There is a big updated kitchen, wood burning fire place and firepit on the patio. Bikes, wetsuits and board games in the garage. Each room had amazing plants or fresh flowers, that added a touch of zen. A short walk down the block and you are at the stairs to the beach, the first day we spotted whales, seals and an otter. A friendly neighborhood with an established quiet zone starting at 10 p.m. We were very relaxed and slept soundly during the quiet nights. Cathy provided helpful communications and updates as needed. The location is a short distance to the Boardwalk, Seabright, Twin Lakes, Pleasure Point and Capitola, where we attended the Arts & Wine Festival. We look forward to returning for another relaxing weekend or with our kids and grandkids to explore more!

We've stayed here I think 4 or 5 times in the last several years. Cathy and Andre are amazing hosts. Great communication. Never any issues. Perfect location to get to the beach, especially since you do not have to drive and deal with parking. Would definitely recommend to absolutely everyone! Looking forward to our next visit!
