The only complaint I have about this location is that the shower's water pressure is terrible. Literally everything else was amazing. The location was PERFECT. Excellent walking to a beach just two blocks away and the boardwalk is a ten minute walk for a slow-poke! The sounds of the waves, sea lions, and birds were ever-present. Beautiful! The house itself was comfortable, the hot tub was immaculate, and for someone who cooks often, the kitchen was easy to use with so many great appliances! (Could use a coffee grinder, but I'm being nit-picky!) Thank you so much for this property, we had an absolute BLAST!

We rented this darling beach house for a family vacation in Santa Cruz. It was perfect for our multigenerational family. Our daughter, son in law and their 3 children had two bedrooms and a bath on the main level and the upstairs master suite was perfect for us. We all loved the large upstairs deck with a perk a boo ocean view for a couple of our family meals. The beds were very comfortable and the house very well equipped with plenty of towels, kitchen supplies and lots of toys and games for the kids. There are beach chairs, beach toys, bikes, coolers and more in the garage as well as a washer and dryer which was so handy. The location in Seabright is excellent and an easy 2 block walk to the beach. We were able to walk to the Boardwalk and the Wharf as well. The owner is very responsive and available. We would definitely rent this wonderful home again in the future.

A beautifully appointed house that felt like a home that is loved and well cared for. We couldn't have wished for anything more as it had a garage of beach toys and conveniences, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was beautiful. So convenient with the beach and boardwalk so closeby.

BEST SANTA CRUZ EXPERIENCE EVER !

This was such a WONDERFUL 2 floor beautiful beach house experience! Upper deck lounge chairs, private hot tub 2nd floor back deck, gigantic master bedroom upstairs with a fireplace and a big ceiling fan to keep us cool! Bunk Beds and 3rd bed next to it AND a separate bedroom downstairs too! love the chase-couch, the kitchen was PERFECT - i made pancakes, bacon, and eggs our 1st morning (brought my own ingredients and my favorite pan) and they had everything else! Fridge SO clean, fillled ice trays for our water bottles, wide screen TV for end of the night YouTube Movies channel, ceiling fan downstairs too! GREAT neighborhood. The location was close to EVERYTHING !!! 21 min stroll to the boardwalk and about the same back - we did it TWICE every day. 13 min drive to Shadowbook (OMG WOW) restaurant, 15 min drive to the Mystery Spot (don't miss that ! Beautiful hike as long as you want, turn back any time, and the 40 min tour of the "spot" was unforgettable. They had beach towels for us (used that for an amazing beach day) - luxurious beds, bedding, pillows, extra blankets ... GAMES at the house ! QUIET neighborhood! All the light switches were LABELED !!!! cozy but luxurious at the same time, we are 100% coming back if they will have us - they replied to my texts IMMEDIATELY when i entered the Wi-Fi code in with a capital letter that i shouldn't have, LOL - responded immediately when i had a question about where the fan switch was. they are SOOO great!!! loved it.

Perfect Stay at the Beach

We loved staying at this house. The house was exactly as pictured and beautifully furnished throughout. We loved being able to eat our meals out on the deck overlooking the ocean and to walk to several restaurants and the boardwalk. It was the perfect central spot to explore Santa Cruz as well as the Monterey/Carmel area.

Family reunion

My family gather together annually in March to celebrate birthdays, update our busy lives and reconnect by sharing joyful memories while making new ones. We love to explore various areas of the west coast from Washington State down through the California coast and discovered the Santa Cruz beaches. This VRBO has been a superb location for running or walking along the coast and discovered great coffee houses, restaurants and bakeries in the neighborhood. We were impressed with the comfortable, clean and organized accommodations that included a hot tub, fire places, a grill on the upper deck with the view of the ocean and had the best sleep. It was absolutely a wonderful weekend. Thank you!

Fantastic property

We had an incredible time during our visit! The house was in a beautiful and safe neighborhood, close to the beach, and restaurants/ coffee/ the boardwalk. Lots of street parking. The house was very clean, well stocked, and well set up to spend lots of time together with family or friends. The only issue we had was that the keys were not inside the lockbox at check in, but there were alternate ways to get inside the house - all listed in the check in instructions - and the property manager was very responsive. I would gladly stay there again!

We made it work

There were six adults & we made it work. The view was BEAUTIFUL, the deck was nice, the fridge ice & water didn't work, rain came in ON THE FUTON in the master bedroom, blinds in master wouldn't close on one side so people could see in, you need young healthy people to use the master bedroom (15 steep stairs). No face towels in the house and FEW bath towels; we had to go to the store and buy some. No iron, the ironing board was rusted & took two people and 10 minutes to collapse, blinds downstairs were dirty. Living area was TIGHT, dining table is only for 4 & space SUPER TIGHT, showers in both bathrooms were updated but challenging to operate for some. Lockbox is old & I had to put the combination in 6-8 times before it opened, and the same with closing when I returned the keys.
