"Wie alle Gäste, die schon mal hier waren, können wir bestätigen, dass sich der Aufenthalt im Haus und auf der Insel lohnt. Die Lage ist optimal (übersichtlich und nicht überfüllt wie in Funchal). Es gibt einige nette und gute Lokale: Inn&Art, O Mohinho, A Trainera, Capoeira Bar ... auch in Funchal usw.. Das Wetter war super, nicht zu warm und die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Rahmen, keine Mücken. Es gibt übrigens Wettercams, falls es mal nicht gut sein sollte. Irgendwo scheint immer die Sonne."

"The most striking feature of the villa is the setting and the views over the ocean . Panoramic unobstructed views allowed us to view sunrise and sunset. Very spacious ( we were 6 adults) inside and outside Plenty of parking, overall clean except for some ants in a downstairs bedroom . Great location in garajau with restaurants groceries cafe/ bakery nearby. Only issue was the pool was not heated on our request. Manager response was not satisfactory. Otherwise this would be 5 star rated"

"De villa ligt prachtig, mooi uitzicht, mooie tuin en zwembad. Binnen is een renovatie zeer noodzakelijk. Na een storm hadden we veel last van lekkage. MHM heeft het zeer goed opgelost met een upgrade naar een andere villa."

"Die Unterkunft entspricht den Fotos. Die Kommunikation mit Vermieterin war kaum vorhanden. Um dort kochen zu können muss von Salz bis Öl alles mitgebracht werden. Auch Toilettenpapier war nicht ausreichend. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut."

"Great location away from the busy places but still close enough for everything we needed. Just down the road from Cristo Rei its a spot its a spot that has three great resturants close by plus a grocery store as well. The accomadations are clean and cosy and filled all our needs."

"Pros: Had a wonderful time in your Beach House! The views were more beautiful than I ever imagined. Family had one of our favorite vacations. Cons: Showers need immediate repair. First bedroom shower downstairs was stopped up and the pan filled with water. The other 2 bedroom showers leaked and flooded the bathroom floors. A little repair would make a big difference."

"Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr modern und stylish. Die Lage hat uns gut gefallen. Man hat eine schöne Aussicht und es ist eine ruhige Umgebung. Man hört ein wenig den Flughafen, aber das hat uns nicht wirklich gestört. Man ist schnell unten im Zentrum mit dem Auto. Sehr praktisch. Ein Auto wird benötigt. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur hat gut funktioniert, sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Schade war, dass es zum Duschen kaum warmes Wasser gibt. Der Wassertank erhitzt sich durch...

"La société qui gère la location est super professionnelle. La proximité de l’aéroport n’est pas un frein à la location de la maison mais cela devrait être plus indiqué. 2 transats cassés dommage. Vue sympa ainsi que le spectacle des atterrissages. A l’intérieur de la maison tout le nécessaire est là. Un peu chaud à l’étage dans les chambres."

"Bonsoir, Un grand problème à l'arrivée : personne pour nous accueillir. Bien sûr, il était un peu plus de 20 h 30. Il y avait un numéro de téléphone à contacter mais je l'ai effacé par mégarde (mea culpa) mais je pense que tout était en anglais et que j'aurai eu du mal à me faire comprendre. Et de toute façon les clés étaient assez difficile à utiliser sans une aide extérieure. La moindre des choses eut été d'avoir un représentant de Guestready sur place même à une heure tardive. Heureusement...

"Het huisje ligt rustig in de bergen. Je hebt een (huur)auto nodig om het eiland te verkennen. Uitzicht is mooi (je kijkt richting de oceaan) maar de inrichting is erg basis. Nauwelijks voorzieningen aanwezig in het huisje. Ze zijn wel bezig met opknappen en renoveren maar het is allemaal wat ouder/basic."

"The night before I booked the Vrbo as I was flying in from the United States and needed a place to stay for one night before going to the resort. I’m less the 8 hours I found out my plane reservation got switched. I email and asked if I could get at least a portion of my money back and he said no. Eight hours before he had no one, so it wasn’t like I blocked others from coming. I just felt he was rude and not at all flexible."

"When I search on Vrbo for properties I found this particular property amazing. When we got there my mild was blown away, I thought I was in a nightmare. We did not stay there as what we bought was not even near what the host presented to us. The jacuzzi was filthy, we were told that the bar and restaurant were not open up until thursday, on facebook there is a monday to friday buffet, same photos always. The entrance to the property was through a bedroom which only had a blind which only half...

"Hotel antiguo, años 70 u 80. Necesita una buena reforma de todo. Para desayunar o cenar o incluso ir a la piscina, como no estés en el edificio de la réception, tienes que salir a la calle para llegar al restaurante. Les aconsejo que quieres tengan contratada la cena, les den habitaciones más cerca y no en el edificio 6 como nos dieron a nosotros, 5 min por la calle cuesta abajo o arriba, claro. Comida monótona. La isla, preciosa."
