Belle propriété, vue merveilleuse, mais pas bien entretenue, le jardin non nettoyé et la piscine demande d’intervention pour la nettoyer, c’est dommage mais propriétaire Sympathique et réactif. Les photos ne correspondent pas à la réalité Abritel ne fait pas son travail !

Assez bien

Jolie maison, propre, bien située. De gros dysfonctionnements au niveau de la plomberie et électricité. Impossible de prendre deux douches à la fois, manque de débit alors qu'il y a trois salles de bain. Si trois douches sont prises la veille, pas d'eau chaude le lendemain matin. Pas facile si vous êtes une famille de cinq comme nous. La pompe à chaleur et la filtration de la piscine sont tombées en panne le jeudi matin, le propriétaire n'a pas réagi. En conséquence, nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine en fin de semaine alors que l'annonce dit piscine chauffée pour toute l'année. Je rejoins les avis des anciens locataires, c'est dommage d'un certain manque d'entretien.

Great Holiday!

There were 6 of us on this holiday all of different ages and we all had a fantastic time. The positives are the outdoor space, 2 terraces, mature garden, pool, views, town and restaurants were amazing (especially pool and view) the negatives are the house is tired and does need the owners attention but we spent all our time outside so it was no problem for us. We would all come here again

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passés un excellent séjour tout s'est très bien passé, le propriétaire disponible lorsque nous avions besoin, tout est a disposition. Une très belle maison, un très beau jardin, piscine excellente ! C'est juste dommage que la maison ne soit pas bien entretenu,Mr le propriétaire vous avez une magnifique maison très bien située, ne la laissez pas tombé !!! Location is beautiful, location is somewhat outdated. It needs some repairs

Pleasant quiet surrounding and close enough to beach an city. Good swimming pool. We would hire it agaiin. However there are certain repairs that need to take place. Gastove, lights in garden function partially although every is nicely done on sun energy, the parasols are old ( replacement needed), and it was not tidy the garden when we checked in.. irrigation system didn’t function. All things that could be solved before checking in. WiFi was good and tv also. . Good rooms, sizes are good. Bathrooms oke! Good thing was that there are enough towels, soap and kitchen stuff. Unforunately coffee machine missed but that was minor issue. A need for airco, I know in north Spain that is not standard but it would be welcome.

A wonderfully located villa with hot tub and fabulous pool

This is a lovely villa located very close to the gorgeous town of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, where we found plenty to keep us amused (two adults and two young children). For the children there was the beach and play areas and for us, the town with lots of shops and great bakeries, plus plenty of cafes/restaurants. We particularly loved having breakfast at La Classique Bistro, run by a lovely lady who made us feel so welcome. It’s also a great spot to people watch! Beyond Sant Feliu de Guíxols, this part of Spain is incredibly beautiful and well worth exploring. The villa itself has a wonderful pool (heated very satisfactorily by solar panels)... it’s so big... the kids absolutely loved it. There’s also a terrace for gazing out at the beautiful view, which was a lovely spot to while away the latter part of the day. The villa itself has many great aspects - a large open plan living area, a beautifully updated shower room off the main bedroom and two other good bathroom areas. We used the television for relaxing in the evening, which provides Netflix etc. and the Internet connection is very good. Upon arriving at the villa we found the TV not to be working as it should, plus the hot water seemed to be running out quickly... both issues we brought to Oliver’s (owner) attention, and he and his wife Janice were quick to put things right for us - which saw them visiting the villa to make sure we were happy. They later visited again to deliver an aeroplane float for the swimming pool, specifically for our children to use. Oliver and Janice are really thoughtful and kind, which made us feel totally at home. Speaking of home, the villa is well equipped with everything you need! It would be great if the villa had a little bit of an update here and there, but this seems to be happening, what with the recently refurbed bathroom. A less creaky bed in the main bedroom wouldn’t go amiss (!)... but overall, this is a very homely villa owned by a lovely couple (with one of the best pools we’ve ever had whilst holidaying) in a spectacular location.

Arrivée villa 16h , personne pour l' accueil , pas de clés pour rentrer. On a dus téléphoner pour trouver les clés de la villa pour pouvoir entrer . Conclusion pas de réception par l' annonceur. la wifi et la tv difficile à connecter sans l' intervention du propriétaire. Sinon le reste aller. Par contre pour la remise des clés il étais la.

Ideal with family

We stayed at the villa for a week at the end of August, we all wish we had another week!, The villa is very well equipped lt feels more like a home than a holiday let. St Felieu is 10 minutes walk down the road but a good 20 minutes on the way back, very steep hill and the last bit is dark take a torch, with young children a car is essential that is if you can get them out of the wonderful pool!! The house is great with enough space for 4 adults and two children.kitchen is small but has everything you need. Good bathrooms and good size bedrooms. The best is probably the roof terrace with those magnificent views, a gin and tonic a wonderful sunset what more do you want?... Oliver and Jan are great hosts, on hand if you need them but not interfering. We had many holidays in St Felieu but will be returning to this villa hopefully very soon.

Ce fût un séjour très agréable, propriétaires sympathiques. La propriété se trouve dans une petite ville avec supermarchés à proximité en voiture moins de 5min... restaurants bord de mer à moins de 5min en voiture (prévoir un bon portefeuille :)). Maison tout équipé et belle piscine. Ps: prévoir anti moustiques pour la nuit;)

A lovely well appointed Villa perfect for up to 6 people

We had a very enjoyable stay in this ideally located Property. A peaceful location with stunning views across the bay yet only a 20 minute walk away from all the restaurants, bars and beach that S'Agaro offers. Would definitely recommend this property and the location.

Gepflegtes Haus mit sauberen sehr grossen Pool und schönem Garten. Das Wohngebiet war Anfang Juni wenig befahren und nur wenige Wohnungen in der Gegend belegt. Im Haus war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man für eine Ferienwohnung irgendwie brauchen könnte. Top ! Absolut empfehlenswert mit freundlichen unbürokratischen Besitzern. Die Kleine Baustelle nebenan sollte noch im Juni 2017 fertig werden. Danach wohnt man sehr ruhig und erholsam oberhalb der Stadt

Great Location, beautiful views

My family and i stayed several nights at this property and enjoyed every moment. The pool was wonderful and access to the beach was just a short walk. The house was beautiful and very clean, with comfortable beds. I would recomend this property to anyone.

A marvellous garden and pool to spend your holida

We came from the wintry Alps of Bavaria (Germany) to Sant Feliu and were three weeks in April in the villa l `Esplai and have spent there marvellous early summer days. The house lies in a quiet area on a fantastic place. We stayed nearly every day in the nice garden by the big pool. The water was even warm enough (for me - 20°C without heating) to swim in and that in April. For someone who wants to live outside in the nature it is a wounderful house. The terrace on the roof offers spectacular views. Oliver is a nice guy who is interested in the wellbeing of his guests. I think we will come back although the house itself needs a renovation.

Lovely villa with really special gardens and pool

We had a really great holiday in this lovely house at the height of the heatwave in July. The accommodation was perfect for 3 couples (ourselves, 2 grown children and their partners) and we really appreciated the spaciousness of the villa inside and out. The garden and pool area are really lovely and there are several terraces and patios around the house where one could find shade or sun at any time of day. The piece-de-resistance has to be the roof terrace with its fantastic sea views, perfect for early evening drinks! Given the heat it was great to be able to open everything up and get a breeze through the house (not possible in all properties!). The kitchen has everything keen cooks could want and so we enjoyed cooking the local produce very much. We did eat out a lot too, and the owners, Oliver and Janice, who are very friendly and approachable and helpful gave us some very good advice on where to eat locally. Indeed they are impressively knowledgeable on the area and we had some excellent days out following their suggestions. There is good walking and cycling locally which we intended to do but such was the heat that we mostly swam in the pool and sea and lazed. There's always another year! We enjoyed finding our 'inner children' on the 'bouncy castle' type apparatus in the sea at S'Agaro and more grown up visits to Barcelona, the ruins at Empuries, plus various Dali museums and sites. This holiday was just what we all needed to recharge and this villa was the perfect setting.

Beautiful villa and garden

We had one of our best holidays here, the garden, pool and views from the balcony and the house itself are wonderful and it is such a great spot at the top of the hill overlooking the bay of S'Agaro and Sant Feliu. All of the bedrooms were really comfortable, the kitchen was small but had all the essentials and the bathrooms all were fine, it felt very large. Wifi was v helpful as well as the fans at night. Oliver and Janice were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We would definitely stay here again, I loved the aspect in the garden, morning to evening sun added to the charm of the villa itself plus the roof terrace with the views of the twinkly lights of Sant Feliu at night were unforgettable, The town itself is easily reached though we did take the car most of the time! It was August! The beach at Sant Pol at the bottom of the hill was our favourite and the restaurants there, Barbieri - we ate there 3 x I think. Altogether a great base for relaxing.

Très belles vacances

Nou avons passées 15j en famille ( 2 adultes et 3 enfants) à la villa l'Esplai qui a remplit nos attentes. La piscine et la vue sont magifiques. L'environnement est clame même si les camions poubelles passent à minuit! La cuisine est un peu petite comparée au reste de la maison. La plage (très belle) et les restaurants ne sont accessibles qu'en voiture; surtout avec de jeunes enfants. Il manque une vraie table de jardin avec 6 chaises minimum.

Another Great Week at L'Esplai

We booked this villa a couple of summers ago and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the villa and the area, we had an extra week in May 2011 so we booked again, lucked out with the weather and everything was just as we remembered. Thanks for another wonderful week, - great pool, Sant Feliu is lovely and the beaches here are amongst the best I know.
